This LED bulb is far superior to the incandescent bulb that it replaced. The color tone is definitely whiter than the old bulb, but in a pleasant way - there is no cool white harshness. With the dimmer set at 50% this bulb produces about as much light than our old incandescent at 100%. The bulb plays well with our dimmer and does not have any flickering or ringing. I'm impressed and will be ordering another one for a different fixture. I gave this product 5 stars for value, brightness, and overall. I did not rate the bulb for longevity because it is a recent purchase.

We have a light fixture in the kitchen that we like because of its simplicity. The original incandescent light bulb decided to retire after 27 years. This is a great replacement. The light is bright (much more than the old 100W incandescent bulb), sufficiently warm (3000K) and the most pleasant surprise is that it works very well with the old light dimmer switch (installed 27 years ago).I can't say much about its longevity, having it for only a few months. But if it dies, I'll buy another one.

Works well

After years of waiting for an LED replacement for a bright compact fluorescent 5" globe, they're starting to appear, and I was glad to see this one.It was much brighter than the 1400 lumen rated CF it replaced, but after an hour or two it became too hot to touch on top and lost about 1/4 of its brightness, as measured by an Android light meter app.The CF starts out dim, and never gets as bright as this one stays. And I don't see a brighter rated 5" LED globe. So this is a keeper.But I don't think a 20 watt bulb should get that hot, even in my unventilated fixture. I worry about its durability.

I taped off the globes and painted the tops black. combined with black lamp holders, these work well as simple exterior lights to mimic our glass mid-century globes. with the plastic shells, there's less of a concern with breakage when used outside. they're a little on the pricey side, but are working well overall.

Perfect light for my light fixture.

I replaced the dim bulb in my ceiling fan with this one. I had to remove the glass to fit it in, but with the gridded guard, it still looks good.

First of all, I'm very satisfied with the fast delivery and good quality of the product. my room was dark, but after replacing it with this, it became very bright. I'm so thankful and satisfied. thank u
