This wiring kit helped me to install my DDPai camera in my F250. I wanted to take advantage of my Upfitter switches and control the camera with a switch, so needed a wiring kit. The length was more than adequate to run from the camera to the wiring connection behind and below the dash. The quality of the kit itself was fine, and once I hooked it up my camera received power. I'm going to buy it again to install a rear-view dash cam, and the length is good enough to reach from the back window to the dash to use another upfitter switch.

Bought the DDpai dash cam and used this to hardwire it to my fuse box. Nice clean installation that is very simple to do.It would be great if they included the fuse tap with it as others do but I wanted to stay with the ddpai cable since I had the same make camera.A trip to the AutoZone took care of that fuse tap business. Plenty of cable length to reach your fuse box.

Got this for my DDPai mini 2, works great and easy to install , just keep in mind that it dies NOT come with the fuse tap cable nor the fuse to connect to the car fuse box, ended up going to a local auto parts to get the wire tap and the fuse , I got a 10Amp fuse and a small connector for the ground cable, overall works fantastic

perfect for a simple hardwire (key-switched) install so that your lighter socket is not being used by the dashcam, but voltage cutoff is too low (11.6v) for parking mode use and cannot be adjusted.

We used this cable to wire our cameras via fuse. The camera begins operation when the car starts and ends when the key is turned off. When/if we want to use the camera to record while the car is not running, we can easily switch to the power cord that comes with the camera.

Stopped working after half an hour, not working with all the other ways to turn the car on and off, tried a different wire and working fine but not this one

If you are using the DDPai dashcam, you must use this hard wire cable charger, not some other 12 V to 5 V charger with the micro connector. (It will work but will not start up when you start up the car, disconnect the power and connect, and it will start up).
