I used them to bolt a vice onto a drill press so I could adjust it's position. They worked great for that purpose and the threads are standard if you need to switch out the bolts they come with. They only complaint I might have had was with the price. At my time of purchase a two pack of these cost more than a 4 pack of very similar product from competitors. But these do have beefier bolts in them than any others I found on amazon at the time of review so if your use is for more industrial environments these might be the better option.

Works great after I replaced the hex bolts with toilet seat bolts

Over spun it a bit, put some pressure and the handle broke on my first use. Might hold down a feather pretty well.

The plastic washer split into two after about 50 uses. It still works without it; but much differently in a not-better direction.

These clamps are very sturdy

I have been using this on a Stitching pony I made for stitching leather goods for over a year. What a pleasure. Before that I was using a rotating knob but this works so much faster and has held up very well. I use my stitching pony at least 4 days a week.

Unlike the Rockler on the right this cam clamp is not fully rounded rather it utilizes a flat spot to lock it in place which made it difficult to find the perfect setting in my application.

The cam hold down clamp was a perfect fit for my project. I ordered four at the time to have extras on hand. I'm glad I did. I had built a wooden knob attached to a 3/8" threaded rod. Boy, does this clamp save some time and effort. Just unlock, then lock.
