Solid Priduct
Like any Philips Hue product, these do not disappoint. Quality light and easy to integrate into my Hue ecosystem. Spend a little more and get seamless integration and a much more enjoyable user experience. One product, one app and a company that will answer the phone if you need them. Other nameless brands I’ve tried always have some goofy app that isn’t always intuitive and often need to be paired after storm power disruptions. The Hue line is rock solid and Well worth the extra spend to not fight with the things that are supposed to make your life better. Hue is better value in the long run.

Top quality
Everything is quality about these lights. Installation, and especially programming (a breeze) and ease of use.I also purchased from a different company here on Amazon. That set was upstairs (returned and exchanged with Philips), Philips downstairs. The other company is absolutely no comparison to Philips. While they work, unless you use smart lights only for rarely used rooms, it is an absolute pain to use any other company than Philips.1. Philips is a breeze to program. With the other company you need to program every single command. I.e. turn lights to 30%, turn lights to 50%, etc. You also need to program individual steps like, turn hall lights on, turn hall lights off, and any other command you may want your lights to do.Also the programming was not straight forward. It took quite some time to figure out and make it work. With Philips you hook up Siri in no time (need a hub!-definitely worth it) and you just ask Siri to turn lights on or off, or to any percentage without having to program it.2. Philips comes with 113 pre-made light scenes to choose from. A huge time saver, and options I could have never come up with. Very beautiful and pretty much anything you can think of for any occasion and events. Very classy! The other one offers maybe three scenes. And very basic. You have to program anything else.3. Philips comes with a separately purchasable remote control (definitely worth it plus VERY stylish and no screws or wiring needed) that can save numerous of your favorite light scenes so you, your kids, partner, guests don’t need to download the app to turn on, off or dim lights.4. The Philips app itself is so much more use friendly than the app from the other company.5. Note: you don’t need the remote or hub but it does bring out all the options the Philips lights have to offer.General note: with any smart lights, the light switch has to remain on at all times for smart lights to function and can only be controlled via an app or voice control (or remote). If you have a family or often guests, it really is a pain for them to turn lights on and off without a remote. Something to consider.

I really like it.
I recently installed these white and color-changing ambient mood lights in my living room, and I am absolutely thrilled with them! The lights are super easy to install, and the setup process took no time at all. Once in place, I was blown away by the variety of colors and the smooth transitions between them. Whether I’m in the mood for a calm, soft white light or want to create a fun, vibrant atmosphere with color-changing effects, these lights deliver exactly what I need.

The price for quality.
I work from home, and to make my office 'feel' differently when I am there working or in my free time, I decided to play around with color-changing bulbs a few years ago. Depending on why I was there, they seemed to give my office the ambiance I was looking for. Sadly, the bulbs that I used before relied on an internet connection to work, and too many times, behaved not as expected. So, when I moved the office to another room in the house, I decided to go all in and find a set of (6) ceiling lights. There are definitely other options available that are much cheaper than the Philips Hue lights. Some of them are not at all bad and may be a better choice for a lot of people.I ended up paying an arm and a leg compared to others for the Hue system because of the reliability of Wi-Fi in our area. I had experienced one too many times that my previous set of lower-end bulbs simply could not connect, or I had to re-add them to my setup again. When combined with the hub, these lights allow me to set them up once and no longer depend on my internet connection. I can also turn all the lights on and off or cycle through mood settings by using the smart switch/remote (hub and switch sold separately). So, now they work as a standard set of lights without having to get my phone out every time. The quality of the lights, both the light itself and the build quality, is fantastic. To be fair, it should be for the price you pay. The app is, I think, one of the most user-friendly apps in this space. It still can be complex for some, but it will be much easier than most other apps.As others have mentioned, the Hue lights, together with the hub and the light switch, are very dependable and work nicely. Like many other things, if you are looking for lights that you will enjoy for many, many years and want them to work flawlessly and without any fuss once they are set up, it might be worth considering these.Yes, they are expensive, but ask yourself if it is worth the extra money to turn your room into something extraordinary.
