This step stool is so dang cute and fits right in with my daughter’s boho themed bathroom. The design on the side and the fact that it’s true solid wood oak sold me! I am more than 3 times the weight of my daughter and I stood on this and it truly is solid! Not even a creak! It was incredibly easy to assemble, it comes with instructions but truly, you wouldn’t have even needed them it’s that easy! I did have to get a part replaced because one of the steps didn’t have the predrilled holes in it, we debated on drilling them ourselves but I realized there is hardware inside the drilled hole and didn’t want to deal with that headache. Amazon was so easy to work with! They sent me a replacement that arrive a few days later.

I actually bought this for my mother to display dolls on. I chose it because of its color and design. I was extremely pleased when it came to find out it is solid wood, heavy, and extremely sturdy. My parents are elderly, so I am happy to know they will be safe using it as a step stool, but it’s beautiful and can be on display in the living room.

My 2 guest rooms have tall four-poster beds. This is perfect for the grandkids to climb into bed! I didn't rate the "light weight" because it is very sturdy solid wood, but not too heavy for a child. Compared to the other ones I see on Amazon, it is worth twice the price! Beautifully finished, rounded edges. I have ordered another one for the other bed.

Bought this step stole for our kitchen pantry. Needed it so an adult can reach to the top and a child could get to the middle shelf for snacks. First off, I’m impressed by the quality of the product. I’m not a craftsman so I don’t know the technical terms but love that the screws have metal inserts that don’t drive the screw into soft wood. Second, I love the design and quality of the wood. It’s heavy enough to hold up my husband as he stands on his tippie toes and reaches for a box of pop-tarts off the top shelf, that we hide from our kids.

These are a snap to assemble - took me 2, 3 minutes once I got the parts unboxed. Very nice quality when assembled, and attractive - had to replace some 30 year old steps that my wife needs to get in and out of our high 4 post bed. The only thing I would recommend if I were designing them - I would rout a groove for the steps to fit into on the inside of the uprights - that would make them a bit sturdier when screwed together - then it isn't just the screws supporting the weight of the person using the step.

I really like the stability of this stool. We’ve had the same one with a darker stain (no longer an option) for a few years and it is perfect. Love that the hard wood is so durable! The stool on the right is by the same company. It is also a well-made stool but far less stable for children who don’t understand centering their weight.
