Great mouse.
Scrolls great. Charge lasts. The click could be quieted, however, if that is not an issue then it will work for you. It fits my hand well. I think it works great and was designed well. I chose black and it was a shiny black, exactly what I like.

Simple, reliable and comfy — a great everyday mouse
I’ve been using the HP X3000 G3 for a few weeks and I’m really happy with it. It’s comfortable to hold whether you’re left- or right-handed thanks to its ambidextrous design and textured side grips. Overall — for its price — this mouse is a reliable, no-nonsense choice for everyday computing. If you just want a mouse that works well for browsing, work, or light use (without fancy extras), this is a really solid pick.

Works well.
I like this mouse but, I gave a 5 star because it is almost impossible to turn on and off. I understand having the on off button recessed but, give it some room around it so the tip of a fingernail can get to it, that being said, I would buy this again. The battery life is long but, in my world to leave something on that has a battery and not being used does not make sense. I do recommend it in the end, works well with my HP computer.

GREAT PRICE AND PERFORMANCE
THIS MOUSE WAS ADVERTISED AS WORKING WELL ON VARIOUS SURFACES. IT DOES!! MY OLD MOUSE DROVE ME NUTS WORKING INTERMITTANTLY ON ROUGH SURFACES, BUT THIS MOUSE FROM HP WORKS PERFECTLY EVEN ON A BATH TOWEL. AND THE PRICE IS TERRIFIC. IT EVEN COMES WITH AN ALKALINE BATTERY. GREAT DEAL.

A Great Mouse for A Great Price
This is a great and easy to use mouse. It's funny because I am using this same mouse to help write this review. It has a comfortable feel on the hand. It also has sleek and elegant design to it as well. A great price for it to boot.

Great replacement for my old 317
My previous M317 mice never lasted long, with the left button failing fairly quickly. The last replacement 317 I ordered felt like the left button had failed right out of the box, so I returned it and took a chance on this HP product - not my favorite manufacturer. But I was surprised by the nice button feel and heft of this budget mouse. It feels better than the 317 and moves nicely on the pad. The only downside is the options for tracking, etc. don't seem to be available through the Win 11 settings menu. To change pointer tracking speed, cursor size, buttons, etc you must open Control Panel and use the mouse sub menu.
