Worked perfectly. Used for re-lacing Sperry boat shoes. You really need the tool that comes with it. Just cut a triangle tip off lace, twist it into the tool and off you go.

These laces didn't last nearly as long as leather laces from Sperry. One lace broke as I tied it for the very first time, and broke again when I was tying it a few months later. Given the difficulty of doing your own lacing of Sperry boat shoes, you expect that the laces will last much longer.
