A brilliant and fascinating read!!
This was a wonderfully written account of the extraordinary lives of our monarchs. I learnt so much and thoroughly enjoyed it - it really got to the heart of not only the historical context they ruled through but also some of the personal trials they faced (like poor Queen Anne and her children). I’ve read a few books in this genre and this is by far the best!
