ARIATmens Crius Insulated Jacket Coat (pack of 1)

With fall and winter right around the horizon, I needed a new puffer coat to replace an old Eddie Bauer coat where the zipper finally gave up. I wasn't looking for something super heavy duty, but more something to wear around town, and when travelling for work. I wasn't familiar with the Ariat brand, as I'm not a cowboy or horse guy. But I was drawn to this jacket for the high end style that didn't look like I was about to hike Half Dome and the high fill density specifications.The jacket arrived fast, and the large size fits my 5'7, 188lbs frame perfectly. I'm on the broad side, so I like that this is cut a little roomier so I can layer underneath. The exterior fabric seems really high quality and more durable than traditional puffers. And the inside liner is super soft and comfortable. This isn't the kind of jacket that will pack down into its own pocket, but I didn't need that. La calidad de los materiales es excelente, la recomiendo para temperaturas a menos de 10°C. La talla G me quedo muy bien, lo suficiente olgado para usarlo con algún suéter ligero o camisa abajo sin sentirla ajustada.

Awesome! I’ve been looking for just the right winter jacket for years. I e tried all Bean, North Face and others. None were warm enough. Let me qualify that: I was looking for something durable, quiet, attractive, and warm without the bulk. I do t like the Michelin man coats or the big bulky parkas. The Ariat jacket finds the perfect balance! I actually find myself unzipping it or taking it off in situations I’ve normally kept others on.Fit was good, sizing is slightly bigger than North Face which leaves room for layers.I haven’t really tried the conceal carry pocket. And Velcro strap over the top of a firearm would be nice to ensure it stays out.

Look, Im a jacket guy. I dont have any interest in large bulky coats that keep me warm at 30 below. Hey, we all have our wants and needs. This coat is exactly what I was looking for. A warm coat..., I dont look like a puff muffin, and my wife thinks its cool. By the way, I'm not a spring chicken (67), so styles may have changed, but this sure feels comfortable and natural without the appearance of being from outer space :-)
