Great value for “rags”
I’m glad I didn’t listen to the one star reviews. They’re “rags” and yes are delivered in a box, but are clean. I use terry cloth and carbon fiber towels for intricate cleaning of my classic car. That’s a separate order. I’m no professional either. I use these “rags” with my metal polish and then discard. Polished aluminum is a very dirty metal, no matter how shiny it gets. If you are using for a similar purpose, these rags are perfect.

TERRIBLE PRODUCT - you don't want this!!!
If I could give a negative number, I would. This is a terrible product. I've ordered rags before and have been satisfied. These rags are used, not clean, in different, unusable sizes and shapes, of material that doesn't work as rags. This product has no business being on the market. I have never been more dissatisfied with something I bought on Amazon.

Who needs bags of rags? Isn't that what ancient T-shirts are for?
I've often wondered why rags are for sale; I figured maybe bike shops and auto shops need lots of them. One day, my bike got a load of mud in a rainstorm, and my collection of old T-shirts weren't enough. So I bought this bag of rags for the next time that happens, and discovered why they're for sale. I use them everywhere around the house. I don't want to stain my kitchen towels; sponges get torn; paper towels fall apart; fragile things need protection for shipping and storage; etc. I wish I'd learned about bags of rags years ago.

Not lint free
This is a good sized bundle of lightweight sweatshirt rags, but they are not lint free like t-shirt material.

STINKS
These smell like they were in a flooded basement. Awful smell and once wet, carries the smell onto your hands and surfaces. They were good enough for what I needed, moving into a new home and using while painting and wiping up floors and messes. I would never use them for anything else. Pretty thin, which was fine, and I was able to wash them and use again.

very useful
these are great for staining wood.

Perhaps lint free, not 100% cotton. Used clothing cut into pieces.
Low quality
