Fossil Women's Jacqueline Stainless Steel Hybrid Smartwatch with Activity Tracking and Smartphone Notifications

This watch is the perfect combo of smart and analog. I tried the whole smartwatch thing and it just didn't fit for my needs. There was way too much going on and I'd rather just do all the things I could do on the watch on my phone with a much bigger and nicer screen. However, I really missed the step tracking and notifications. Enter this watch! I love the notifications. I have it set to where my important contacts and apps will buzz my watch, so I know if it's worth checking my phone. It's so freeing to not look at my phone with every notification! I know if my watch doesn't buzz it can wait. The stopwatch feature is also really handy and the step tracking seems accurate. There are a lot of other features too that seem pretty cool, but I haven't really used them much. As a watch it's gorgeous! I love the style and it's very durable. Definitely doesn't LOOK like a "smartwatch" which I LOVE. It has a timeless, classic look and its very versatile. I also bought a gray band to go with it so now it matches literally everything in my closet. With the quick change band, I can switch from tan to gray in about 30 seconds so it's super easy. Overall, I highly recommend this watch!

I have two Fossil Hybrid watches, bought one as a gift for my mom, and I would highly recommend all!What I especially love is that the watches can be are extremely customizable and can be as “smart” as you wants. At first all I wanted was basically a pretty & discreet fitness tracker - then I started using Apple AirPods and the watch has become an invaluable essential! I typically have my watch buttons set to music controls (volume up, play/pause, and volume down). I listen to music or podcasts at work and if you have AirPods you know that you can’t change the volume without your phone or having to talk out loud to Siri. I did not want (and do not want an Apple Watch or any other full-on smartwatch because I personally don’t want to be THAT connected - constantly being distracted by notifications, having another thing to charge daily, etc. However the convenient connectivity features of activity tracking, music control, and the option of calendar notifications and all the other fantastic features is perfect for me - not to mention a gorgeous watch!The absolute only thing I would change would be to have a separate hand to automatically display your activity goal progress throughout the day (without having to press a button).

I purchased this watch in 2018 and loved it. It was stylish and went with almost everything I wore. I don't usually pay much for my watches so I splurged on this one. It worked great for a year, with a couple battery changes, then early 2020 it stopped working. Because of COVID19 I couldn't take it to my jewelry store that normally does my battery changes. I took it today and it WAS NOT a dead battery. It just doesn't work. That was a lot of money for a watch that only works 1.5 years in my opinion.

First impression: it feels big on my 5.75” wrist but I don’t mind it too much.Likes:The weight of it isn’t bad.I LOVE that it’s 36mm (instead of 44+).I love the color & bands are interchangeable.Love that it looks like a watch.Love that I don’t have to “charge” it & I can replace with normal watch battery.I’m used to a Smartwatch notification with digital info so I was confused as how this worked as a “Smartwatch” prior to purchase dispite my efforts to research this specific one. There wasn’t a lot of info. It will take some getting used to as far as which one I set my notifications (the hour & min hand moves to any of the numbers 12-11 when being notified). I’m starting with just the 12, 3, 6 & 9.Dislikes:Vibration for notification is not as strong as I’m used to. I’ve missed notifications because I didn’t feel it.Notifications can be tricky because you have to remember which number you assigned for notifications since it’s not digital and doesnt actually tell you what’s going on.I don’t know how far the range is but I had to be pretty close to ring my phone via the watch feature.The step count only goes to 10k. Beyond that I have to check my app on phone.I am leaning towards LOVING it but I’m not sure. As far as looks, I’m in love but I’m on the fence about the features. I think I just need to adjust to the transition from a Fitbit.UPDATE: I was super frustrated because I couldn’t find my phone and I walked around the whole house 3 times pressing the ping button. It wasn’t until I traced my steps and found my phone and it still didn’t beep until it was pretty close. Kinda beats the purpose. I don’t lose my phone often but when I did, it didn’t work too well with the range. :(

I love this watch. I did a lot of research on smartwatches and while I wanted the smartwatch functionality, I hate how ugly they look. This was a perfect alternative. If you're looking for a Fitbit or something that will thoroughly track your steps, etc., this is not the watch for you. If you just want something that tells you when you get a text or call, and also functions as a beautiful watch, this is perfect. It's basically a really cool watch. Not necessarily a smartwatch. People are always a little spooked when they see the hands move around on their own, which I think is hilarious. No one expects this watch to do what it does, and I love that. It's absolutely perfect for my needs. Be careful when you wash your hands though, I don't think it's waterproof.

Todo más que excelente. Llegó en la fecha y horario indicado. El reloj hermoso y en perfectas condiciones de empaque. Estoy feliz, resultó más bonito que en la foto y asombrada por las funciones al ser híbrido sin dejar de ser clásico y elegante.

Total Waste of money

Such a beautiful watch. Have had it for a little over a month now. Works well, looks great casual as well as for formal occasions. Couldn't be happier. Not sure if steps are entirely accurate, but love the sleep monitoring feature. Love the notifications for contacts, apps etc. Can just take a quick glance and know who has messaged without bothering to take out your phone.

Looks and feels great. Can swap out bands.
