I eventually built this set after making others that were in the queue and i have to say that this is the best lego set i have built to date.The functions are really good and it handles very well.I also bought a LED lighting kit to finish it off too which looks great.Would definitely recommend.

Challenging

Really complicated to build but great fun. So many build phases it comes with two very thick instruction manuals. My advice is take your time, as I made two errors whilst building but fortunately was able to rectify without problems. The build of the ladder is a bit strange as some parts "bend" a little to fit near the cogs, the manual is perhaps a bit lacking here. Otherwise great fun to drive and operate. Buy it if you can.

This item is expensive, you need a password before the delivery driver passes it overIt comes in a massive box, and within that theres a smaller box, still corrugated, and inside that theres a padded lego box with you deconstructed model insideIm an avid modeller and delivery was perfectionOn opening you get a mass of bags, all numbered, a box with motors in and two instruction books, just had it but i know whats instore having done adult technic beforeCan't wait.

Let me start by saying I am a great fan of adult Lego and own a few Control+ models. This one is very finnicky about stated extended lengths of the mechanical ram cylinders in the build instructions. If these are are not strictly adhered to the model will not calibrate and may be accompanied by much gear clicking.

This is not an easy build, and that is great! It has some really interesting ways to put together its pieces, and the result feels really large. Very much enjoyed.

As a 50 year old I have been itching to buy some technic Lego as I loved it back in the day. I was not left disappointed I enjoyed the build takes some time doing which is good, so much detail. thumbs up to the designers. Lego should build a 360 excavator, With real pneumatics would be a real game changer

I bought this for my sons Christmas and he built it in a couple of days he loved itIt was delivered in time I would use them again
