A surprisingly good camera for a 'beginner EOS ×××
I bought this as a second bidy to back up my 70D, Amazon had it at a great price, I also had £125 of Amazon vouchers from xmas too. The sweetener was Canon's winter double cashback which was another £100 off the price. I had a baby photo shoot yesterday for a friend and was able to use both cameras. I cannot see any difference between the two cameras and using the canon connect app with an IPad air and Galaxy Tab 8 using the Canon Connect app meant the parents could see the resulting shots straingt away. I think the wjfi facility, on both bodies, increased their spend on the results we produced. O did some shots with a 5D II using zn EF 85mm f/1.8, and compared the resultant shots with the 79D and 750D. The surprise was that the new parents chose more of the frames taken with the 750D than the other 2 bodies. I am looking forward to using the lighter 750D with the EF-S 24mm f/f2.8 lens I have just ordered for some busy 'street' shots. It really feels comfortable to hold and very responsive. It is noticeably lighter than the 70D but I cannot see the IQ difference between this body and the 70D. So 5* from me. 20 Months On I bought this body early in Jan 2016 as a back up to my main kit and it has been joined by an EOS 80D ad an EOS M5. The 750D is still my go to kit for general and difficult light photography. It also covers 85% of my video needs, working brilliantly with the EF-S STM lenses (eg 10-18, 24, 18-135 and the brilliant 55-250 and EF 40mm STM Pancake) on video shots. I am very impressed with the low light metering and AF speed it delivers. On connectivity with the Canon app for Android and iOS, the camera control and file transfer by and to phone or tablet is superb. The work Canon are doing on connectivity really enhances the usability of the latest crop of bodies and for the 750D a lack of Bluetooth is not an issue. I was tempted to trade the 750D in part exchange for the 80D - very glad I decided not to. Compared to the 800D there are few real differences other than price and sensor. I do not think I will be letting the 750D go any time soon!

Amazing camera for the price.
For the price, you get a high-quality camera which can give you very professional pictures as well as videos. As a beginner don't be discouraged when your first attempts using this product don't look as impressive as you expected them to. It takes a lot of time to learn how to use this camera. I would recommend learning how to change the settings to get your desired look before reviewing the product. You will never get all that this camera has to offer whilst shooting on automatic mode.

I*'m very, very pleased with this. A decent camera, easy to use, lots of potential too.
I've only just got this, a very popular DSLR camera. Up to now, I've been using a decent digital compact but I want to make some movies and take better stills. This is very good, right out of the box. I took a couple of indoors shots using the auto settings and the lens is very good, no doubt about that. Outdoors, I photographed a summer sky and a couple of other things, printed the sky on A4 matt finish paper and saw a tiny, tiny speck, like a defect. I blew it up and it's a bird in flight, so far away I couldn't see it when I took the photograph. That's really not too bad. The lens that comes with it as a complete "kit" is very good, no need to rush out and buy a new one. I photographed an electric guitar, a Far East counterfeit of an very famous American model which looks really good, but inspecting the photo, it shows that it doesn't have the finish quality of the American "pattern" original - it sees what the eye does not. I'm impressed. It's well made and easy to use (ergonomically it's first rate, a pleasure to use) but it's obvious that I'm going to be looking at the (very good) booklet for a good while and I'll have to have my hands on it to get used to what it does - learn the balancing act of the manual settings for various scenes and situations. Good as it is on auto everything, there's a lot more to be had here, that's clear. That comes with knowing the camera and time but the device itself is clearly worth this and is capable of very good results. Later, I'll upload the PDF for the more fancy stuff and think about lenses but there's enough here to keep me busy for now.

Great starter DSLR - Video & Photos if you're on a budget.
Firstly, I'm not a photographer. I work in Social Media and wanted to do more creative stuff online. As DSLR's are very expensive, I wanted to make sure when I committed I made the right choice. I spoke with a Photographer and he said that he'd always had Canon. They're certainly not the cheapest, in fact, they're probably one of the most expensive. I went into my research looking for a good starter camera. One that could do decent photos with the option of video. My results kept coming back to the 750D. Although this is a 3-year-old model, it still has some great functionality. You can connect your phone (NFC), and copy photos immediately off your camera. This is a lifesaver for me as I can post my images online in a few minutes. If you're working with a budget and you're looking for a good all round DSLR. You cant go wrong with this. I would suggest that you invest in a new lens though. I went with an 18-250mm and I've been really happy with the images.

I love it !
It is a well-built, stylish and well-functional camera. The auto-focus is working swiftly and efficiently and is also very easy to use. The quality of the pictures is sharp, colourful and clear. The touch screen is very responsive as well as is big enough to view the pictures clearly. It has also got the WI-fi function which can effectively connect with your mobile phone for viewing the photos on the mobile passionately and taking the pictures remotely. This function has boosted the attractiveness of the camera further upward. However, the only deficiency in this model is the lack of Wi-fi facility which can communicate with your laptop wirelessly. Otherwise, there would not be many complaints from me.
