Does the product really stop the bleeding while shaving or after I've finished ?

Hi there, what I tend to do is to shave as per normal then rinse with COLD water. Then as soon as I have rinsed I leave my face wet then simply run the block over my face. It will give you a wake up! Then simply pat dry. In all honesty it wont cure open surgery but definitly help with the nicks etc. To sum this up I would not be without mine. They really are good and OSMA are good. Simply put the block back in its box. No need to dry it, the cardboard soaks it all up until the next use. Hope this helps, Laurie

Hello, is this packaged in paper or plastic?

Hi the packaging is cardboard. I remove pre shave from the packet so doesnt get wet then dry and place back post shave. Last for ever but dont drop as will shatter. Hope this helps.

Is this natural alum or synthetic?

Natural. A synthetic salt block could be tricky to make and would probably cost more than £4.50 :-)

How is the product packaged for delivery? There are lots of reviews mentioning stones arriving broken

I guess it depends on the retailer that ships it. Amazon themselves choose to place in a folded piece of cardboard and consider it to be adequate. We however use a high grade of cardboard carton with either paper or eco sheet packaging peanuts to ensure no damages.
