Dymo Omega

This is the 3rd one I bought. They don't work. Quality, materials, construction, and assembly are very, very poor.

I picked up the Dymo S0717930 Omega Home Embossing Label Maker for my wife last year, and let me tell you, it was a game changer! She had this vision of labeling all our jars in the kitchen, and this little gadget made that dream come true. From the moment she unboxed it, I could see her excitement. No more guessing what's in each jar; everything is neatly labeled, and honestly, it looks pretty darn good on the shelves! But what really stands out is how happy it made her. Seeing her so thrilled to organize our pantry has been a joy for me too! It’s the little things, right? Now, every time I reach for a spice or a snack, I get to enjoy the fruits of her labeling labour. In a nutshell, if you're looking for a thoughtful gift that brings a sprinkle of joy and organization into your home, the Dymo Omega Embossing Label Maker is a winner. It’s practical, fun to use, and has made our kitchen a lot more user-friendly. A very happy wife indeed!

Really good product. Most people here seem to give this product a bad name and yes I see where they are coming from I have to disagree. My one prints the labels just as I wanted them, just make sure to give the handle a tough pull for each letter as it will give you the best results. Its construction is okay, kinda rickety here and there but all in all it holds together fine. I would recommend this product but I'd still have to say be aware that it may not last for years and years :P

I love my little simple Dymo machine. Ok, it has a few issues- like sometimes slipping out of sync and needing to be "fixed" but all you have to do is figure out how much it is out by, and hold the underside dial while adjusting the top. Its an easy fix. Also, sometimes the odd letter won't print properly. I find doing a few of that particular affected letter in a row fixes that- not sure why. But yes, overall it works well and is a reliable label maker. The spacing between the letters can be a bit much at times, but I think it adds to the labels charm. I have used my label maker on just about everything in my house, from my filing cabinet, to my spice jars, and i can't say I'm finished yet. I also regularly use it with crafting and scrapbooking, so there is loads to do with it, and the variety of pretty refills you can buy. If this truly broke and I was unable to fix it (doubtful due to its simplicity, but still) I would definitely buy another one.

It worked for maybe half of the first pre-loaded reel. Realigning did not prevent the faint letters. Refills barely worked at all and had to be tossed. Very poor quality, after just a few uses. Avoid.

Bought as a gift for my organisation obsessed mum. She loves it, it prints really well and sticks great to most items, and can be removed easily too, leaving no residue. Super easy to set up and great value for money, the refills are also quite cheap it buy too

I love the label maker when it works. I've labelled everything from spice jars, pasta pots, my wife, you name it. It provides me with a sense of relief and satisfaction that unlabelled containers could never before. How else could I know what's in my clear, vacuum sealed, cylindrical container without labelling it, "PASTA" first? Just like the 1000s of other reviews, it does eventually stop working after 6 months. It stopped printing letters and cutting the tape properly. No matter how hard I clamped on the trigger the letters didn't appear, but my grip strength improved dramatically. Silver linings and all that. My dreams of a fully-labelled life began to fade away, and the creeping sense of disorganised chaos began to seep into my everyday life. Is something worth organising if it isn't labelled? I got a refund through Amazon and purchased another one, though. Not all is lost. Let's see how long this one lasts. Bring me peace o' untrustworthy label maker.

This is a simple 'push to print' label maker that has been updated over the years. The quality of the unit is good and the plastic casings are solid. The 'wheels' that contain the lettering and symbols move effortlessly and it is simple to choose the letter you want, push the casing together and see the ribbon progress to make the label. The letters and symbols are well marked on the dial wheel. There is an enclosed 'cutting blade' which cuts off the label once the letters / symbols have been punched out. Happy to recommend this label printer. It is good quality, reasonable price and produces clear labels.

Super łatwe w użyciu i tanie urządzenie. Bardzo przydatne przy organizowaniu.

This maker is awesome! I've managed to label everything in my house, a few things in my neighbours backyard and more! Works really well, and is so much fun for the price.

Es el dymo de toda la vida con cinta negro y letras que sobresalen en blanco, solo mayúsculas (con una acción algo mejorado y diseño más ergonómico y bonito- la cinta se esconde en el mango). La cinta pega sin problemas. Es fácil de usar y las letras son claramente marcadas. Ojo que no hay Ñ ni Ç. Pero si hay Ä, Ö, Ü, €, £, los numerales y . , / @ y un espacio. El espaciado generosa entre letras es un poco anti-estético, o quizás es la estética dymo, y ya está. Es oportuno recordar hacer un espacio antes de cortar al final. Me gusta que hace un curioso semi-corte antes del corte de la cinta, para que sea muy fácil quitar la película trasera antes de pegarlo. A menos de 10€, me parece buen precio... puede ser que recuperan el dinero en lo que gastes en cintas. Viene suministrado con una cinta negra para empezar.

... ich benutze diese Etiketten gerne. Vor allem für den Außenbereich. Sie kleben gut und das Geprägte ist trotz Sonne und Co ewig lesbar. Nach einer Weile prägte es jedoch nicht mehr und schnitt auch nicht mehr, was ja schon in vielen anderen Rezensionen bemängelt wurde. Warum also 5 Sterne? Es gibt kein alternatives Gerät ... aber eine relativ einfache Lösung des Problems. Die Drehscheibe besteht aus 2 einzelnen Teilen und es kann passieren, dass sie sich nicht beide zeitgleich drehen. Dann funktioniert nichts mehr. Kontrolliert ob die Schere noch richtig auf dem unteren Rad justiert ist. Wenn nicht dreht sie wieder übereinander und prägt weiter;-)... Zur Erklärung hilft hoffentlich das Bild.
