This mouse is a must for a laptop without taking up a USB slot.
Even with a touch pad on my HP laptop I still find it better to use a mouse and this is the mouse I use, because it links directly to the Bluetooth rather than a secondary Bluetooth dongle which takes up a port. It is neat and doesn't have separate buttons, just a slim shield over the button sensors. The scroll also has a light click mechanism which helps when scrolling through photographs and similar. This is a facility I particularly like.I would definitely buy again if anything happened to this one.

Nice design
Great little mouse for the money. Smooth and compact, and works well with my Chromebook.

Beautiful cheap mouse.
I'm always a bit wary opening something from Amazon since I know it is important to keep the packaging pristine in case something needs to go back.I needed a bit of stealthy work with the nail scissors to gently prise off the transparent seal. Then to gently open the packaging without breaking anything.Once open the mouse was silver on top and black on the bottom. The only bit of paperwork needed was the Quick Setup Guide. It was not immediately clear how the AA battery supplied fitted in. The guide showed how to gently prise the silver top of the mouse off to insert the battery. Once fitted the top went back on quite easily.I’d never installed a Bluetooth device before, but I found it surprisingly easy. With the mouse switched on I fired up the Bluetooth Wizard and followed the simple instructions. I did need to press the connect button at the bottom of the mouse, and required the help of my existing mouse to click on the final confirmation.Well if this is Bluetooth I’m extremely impressed. The mouse connected immediately and has so far been error free. I’ve played a game of chess against my chess program and although I lost it wasn’t the fault of the mouse. I found I could pick up and place down my pieces with as much ease as if I’d been using a gaming mouse.Comparing it with the HP Comfort mouse I’d already installed I know which one I prefer now. The Bluetooth mouse is light years ahead; much faster and more accurate. There is no hassle finding drivers or downloading hardware or software, and no charging up either.I think I might just buy myself another one as a spare.PS: This mouse briefly lost it's connection and when I looked at my devices it was shown as being paired but not connected. Switching the mouse off then on seemed to correct the problem. Obviously if this happens too often I might have to knock off a star.It has now lost it's connection 3 times so I'm knocking off a star.

An excellent basic mouse
The great advantage of using a bluetooth (BT) mouse is that there is no dongle taking up a valuable USB port. This particular HP mouse is reasonably priced and simple (basic) to use. You just get the 2 buttons and a scroll wheel - which is ideal for me. It appears to be well made, has a positive feel and seemingly good battery life. Pairing is very easy with a 'connect' button on the underside. So, no complaints from me - indeed, I am rather chuffed.

Fits great, easy to connect and use.
I was looking for a wireless Bluetooth mouse as my MacBook only has thundbolt ports. Exactly what I was looking for and looks sleek. Highly recommend for anyone with the same requirements

Wrong colour shine
I have a laptop HP Spectre, which has ash copper shine finish. This mouse is stated to be ash copper shine also. Now, copper is actually supposed to be reddish gold colour, not yellow gold, as on this mouse. Even though mouse is lovely, I ended up clashing in design. If you are a man, perhaps you'll laugh at my point. But if you are a woman with HP Spectre, put another £30 pounds on top and go for the more expensive one, designed for Spectre laptop specifically, as I bet you won't be happy with this one :)

Uncomplicated
I was a little hesitant to buy this after having seen the reviews of others but I'm pleased to say I've found it simple and uncomplicated to use and it works extremely well. The only slightly downside of it (and I'm picking holes) is that when you open it to put the battery in, you can see they've used the cheapest nastiest plastic, a really horrible pink colour ,it's a shame as it belies an otherwise premium product.

Overall a fantastic product!
I have these mouse for many years now and it is fantastic! No “dongle” needed, very small, uses a Standard AA battery and it lasts forever. So since my Partner had to work from home during the First lockdown in the UK she needed a mouse so i ordered her this one and she likes it as well! I have fairly big hands and it is comfy to use, she has small hands and she says it is very comfy to use as well!
