If you have sensitive skin don't give up on vitamin c - go with THD Ascorbate (like this one)
I have sensitive skin when it comes to vitamin C. I heard an aesthetician on social media speak as though she knew my skin exactly by asking "have you given up on vitamin c because it breaks down your skin barrier?" I felt known lol. She then went on to say that I needed to go for vitamin c that is based off of THD Ascorbate. It's gentle and still effective. So, I gave this a go. This one, I can use daily with absolutely no adverse reactions. I put it on in the mornings after cleansing and then layer on my serums and other skincare items. It layers great. I do notice my skin feels a tad oily by the end of the day (10 hours of wear) so I'm ready to wash my face in the evening. It doesn't look oily, it just feels as though I want to wash my face. Which actually works for the better for me as I don't want to get lazy and stop my skincare. It does help to brighten my skin, has a nice light creamy texture (not stickiness), and lasts. I'm glad I caught wind of what type of vitamin c my skin needs, because I had given up on it. SO all in all - If you have sensitive skin don't give up on vitamin c - go with THD Ascorbate (like this one).

This works well
I love this stuff. I bought it on clearance at Walmart and I’m so glad I did because then I purchased more here. It costed more than from clearance at Walmart, but I was happy with it to pay the price. It smooth my skin it’s creamy, but not thick, it gives a little bit of pink to your cheeks, but it’s not from the color of the cream. It’s just that it brings out a glow. A couple pumps at a time and it does my face my neck and even can rub it into my hands. I use my face cream on top of that and my face is very smooth when I’m finished. I love this. You have a customer for life.

Highly recommend!
I have sensitive skin and this is absolutely perfect!! No harsh chemicals or toxic smells. It literally takes ONE pump to moisturize my face and the wrinkles have decreased. I use this only at nights (different cream in the morning) and this works great! It is not thick nor sticky so it easily glides on my skin and when I wake and wash my face, you can see the difference. I definitely recommend!!

Overall a good product
Definitely hydrated my skin, if you’re prone to breakouts can only use a few times a week. Makes you’re skin a bit oily.

Gentle yet effective, perfect for sensitive skin!
I’ve tried so many vitamin C serums that irritated my sensitive skin, but Vanicream’s version is a total game-changer. It’s free from dyes, fragrance, parabens, and all the harsh stuff, so it feels incredibly gentle and soothing while still delivering great brightening and antioxidant benefits. The serum absorbs quickly without any sticky residue, and my skin looks more even-toned and radiant after just a few weeks of use. I also love that it doesn’t cause any redness or breakouts, which is rare for me with vitamin C products. If you have sensitive skin and want a clean, no-nonsense vitamin C serum that actually works, this is the one to try. Highly recommend!

Love Vanicream Vitamin C Serum
Vanicream makes great simple skincare products, and this serum is no exception. I love the texture and silky feel of this serum, and I have had excellent results with this under my spf, as long as I let it dry prior to patting spf application and then also allowing the spf to set up prior to putting on foundation. No matter which vitamin C serum I've tried, I always have to allow for dry time, but it's worth it.

Doesn’t Oxidize
I was using the ordinary’s Ascorbyl Glucoside serum but didn’t like how quickly it oxidized. Searched Reddit and this was highly recommended for sensitive skin. Since it’s a really great price compared to drunk elephant etc I figured it give it a chance.Dries quickly and works nicely under makeup. Because of the pump style packaging it’s not exposed to the air to oxidize so stays effective for longer (yay!!!).I’m on my 2nd bottle and have recommended it to friends!

Caused breakouts
I usually have clear skin and this serum had me breaking out each time I used it. I started using it before I applied my sunscreen and my skin was struggling. I stopped using the vitamin C serum and my acne cleared up.This might just be how it interacts with my skin, it may work miracles for yours. /shrug
