Youth Is Only Fun In Retrospect

First caught this young band by accident when I wandered past them performing at the Latitude Festival in 2015. I was quite mesmerised by their stage presence (especially the charismatic frontman Oscar), their unique stadium sized pop-rock sound, and their catchy songs. Oscar threw a bottle of water into the crowd which hit / drenched me, but such rock wounds are forgivable and make for a reasonable anecdote a year and a half later. Their album is finally out and it is brilliant. Very clever songwriting / harmony arrangements, memorable tunes . . . a new classic.

A fantastic first album from this superb band. I played it in my car on a bose sound system and it does not disappoint. Cannot reccomend highly enough.

Saw these lovely boys supporting Nothing but thieves last year and they were amazing. I was eagerly awaiting the album and now I have it, I listen to it obsessively. So original and refreshing. Can't wait to see them again and be able to sing along. Vivienne is an awesome track, although I may be slightly biased as my snake is called Vivian and he's gorgeous.

Bought this on a bit of a whim after sampling a few tracks and very pleasantly surprised. The whole album has a similar feel throughout but there are no duds. Been listening to it on repeat for 3 days and genuinely enjoying every track. Think it will sound especially great in the summer!

Excellent album. I saw them live in February and enjoyed their music so bought the album. Probably one of my favourite albums I've bought in the last couple of years! I like all of the songs which is a rarity

I love Sundara Karma, and this album, to me, is kind of summery music to fall in love to. So if you like the sound of that, then get this :)

What better way to start 2017 than with this belter of an album! Anthemic rock and pop at its very best with some brilliant lyrics and melodies. Well recommended
