Zebra Jimnie Gel Rollerball Pens Black Ref 11651 [Pack 12]

These were my favourite pens for years. They wrote so smoothly and beautifully. Then they changed dramatically and the ink flow became intermittent and they felt scratchy on the paper. I have had a long conversation with Zebra who have admitted that they changed the manufacturer but despite my numerous attempts to get them to admit there is a problem or to acknowledge that other customers are experiencing the same issues and even using the same words to describe those issues, their answers remain that of a seasoned politician and they will not admit anything.They sent me some free samples which also had intermittent ink flow and were scratchy. It's very sad to see a quality product decline in this way and very annoying that I can't find a pen that is as good as their original ones were.

These pens are ok. I usually use the energel pens or the uni pin drawing pens. I thought I would give these a go since there is so many out there. When I first started warming these pens up they were very scratchy and the ink kept lagging, leaving messy looking blank spaces. This is NO USE to me when it comes to drawing. The ink must be consistent and have a nice flow. These pens I just cant rely on.I will still use them as filling in black areas or messing around in my art journal but will have to look elsewhere for proper line drawing. Im assuming all the other reviewers just used these as writing pens and for that they are fine. But honestly why use expensive gel pens just to write? im not sure. Anyway, yeah these pens are great for writing but not for what I need. They seem to be semi ok depending on the type of paper you use. On yellow memo pads they are useless but normal white paper there seems to be an improvement. However they need a lot of warming up and to be honest that is a waste of ink as well as time.Going to return back to my energel rollerball pens. They have never needed warming up and never failed me.

These were the best around especially if you needed a smooth, fast flowing pen. Not any more. In fact the last box of 12 that I bought had 4 that consistently stopped writing after 3 words and the rest are scratchy an,d drag on the page.

Arrived very quickly. Pens are in clear casings, not red as shown in the photo. Presented scratchy, threw more than half of the pens out. The gel is not fast drying and turned all smudgy as I'm a leftie. Won't be buying these again, unfortunately.

After years of writing sporadically through the over use of computers for reports etc I returned to education to get a degree and got the shock of my life writing essay style answers for 3 hour exams. This pen was a god send my handwriting is not the easiest to read and growing up using fountain pens at school my hand writing looks atrocious when using Biro's because of having to push so much harder on the paper. This pen works brilliantly appplying the same pressure as a fountain pen and my hand writing is legible again. Strongly recommend this product for people who can't use ball points

These pens are not the same quality as the retail two pack that I've been buying for years, which I've found to be extremely reliable and consistent. As other reviewers have commented the ink doesn't flow consistently and they're scratchy. I'm not convinced they're Zebra originals and I'm very disappointed.

Comfortable to hold and write well with no smearing or blobbing of ink. My go to reliable everyday pen.

Bought these for my son for school as they are advertised as red and black in colours but they have a clear case and if I'd have known this would not have got them...
