Avery versatile little torch.
This is an excellent little torch. The torch can be clipped to the underside of the brim on a baseball cap and used as a head torch and as the head pivots it can be used for looking at a map or baiting a hook when fishing.

Almost perfect.
The clip and the swivel-head make this a very useful little work-light clipped to clothing or hat, etc or laying on the ground or any flat surface. It is bright enough for most purposes and lightweight enough for your pocket so is thoroughly recommended. If you need to change a wheel in the dark, this will help. The beam is nice and smooth and wide with no 'hot-spots' so it doesn't reach very far. Battery life is adequate and it can also operate attached to power-bank which would give several days continuous light if you wanted that. Not so good:1. In flash mode, both the white light and the red light operate isophase rather than flashing. A strobe-like flash attracts more attention and uses less battery.2. The white light starts on maximum. I would prefer it to start on minimum OR whatever was used last.3. The casing of mine has a few rough corners and joins that may damage my pocket long-term.It is not perfect but it is very good and decent value for money.

Nitecore Thumb Keyring Torch
i have a number of Nitecore products and they all seem to be good quality. This keyring torch is very light wieght, but has two LED bulbs at the front which can be adjusted to three different settings. The top of the torch also can be flipped forward and with a clip at the back it can be attached to a pocket so can be used hands free. The torch at it brightest setting gives a very good light and the battery life seems very good. As it is rechargable there is no need for replacement batteries. A very useful little powerful torch.

Lovely bright torch
I thought I'd try this torch even though some reviews stated that it wasn't very bright and was only suitable for seeing stuff at "arms length".It is very bright and easily lights up the whole of a Lounge sized room on the brightest setting. The plastic is good quality and the whole torch feels well made. I carry this in the back pocket of my jeans and don't even feel it's there. Also, this torch doesn't accidentally switch on like my other different torch used to.I've since bought another of these to keep in my work trousers. It's a real bonus that it's rechargeable.Highly recommended.

Failed. In 3 months No Warranty
A handy little torch for 3 months, then it started going dim very quickly after a full charge. After that it ‘bricked’ (Not the lock out function)I won’t be buying a Nitecore again.

Perfect EDC torch
This is a great EDC torch. Does exactly what you need it to do. It's not made to be a search light. It's perfect for day to day tasks and emergencies.

A bit gimmicky
This little keyring torch is, I have to say, not one of Nitecore's best offerings. For a start, it's not that bright - on the brightest setting, it is only 85 lumens - Nitecore's own Tiki is smaller than this and puts out 300. Further, it has two separate LEDs and no lens to focus the beam, so really can't reach any significant distance. The design is a bit hit-and-miss as well. The section with the two LEDs pivots through 120 degrees, but I struggle to see that this is useful. The only thing I can think of is that you could use the pocket clip to attach it to the brim of a cap and then angle the beam to somewhere in front of your chest, but if you were going to do that, a small head torch would be a far better solution. There are two auxiliary red LEDs on the side, which can be set to constant on or flash - if the head pivoted in the other direction, you could conceivably use it as an emergency bike light, but as it doesn't, you can't! A missed opportunity there. This really does feel like a triumph of styling over function. If you are going to use the pocket clip, you may as well get a brighter pocket torch; if you are going to use the keyring, you can get better keyring torches from Nitecore themselves. My overall feeling is that whatever you want from a torch, there will be a better option than this one...
