Plaqsearch Disclosing Tablets are a set of 40 chewable, fruit-flavored tablets that use a unique two-tone natural dye system to differentiate old (blue) and new (red) dental plaque. It says the manaufacturer is Plaqsearch, however that is a brand from Tepe, so can someone clarify if these are made by Tepe or another manufacturer?
Are these ok if you have braces?

Bigger pack is better value, but don't let the dye get near the tile grout.
Bought these as a recommendation for my teen by his dentist. They do what they say - they disclose where he has missed on his teeth, but where he was having problems due to overcrowding - the whole area went purple. It didn't look good, but they really did show up where he needed to clean more. (Saying that the 3 baby teeth causing the problem which were wobbly have now all gone). So hoping with his mouth freed up of the those teeth who didn't want to stay, this will continue to let us know where he needs to improve on his dental hygene.They are the same as the initial pack we were given by the dentist. It's a good sized pack, better than the smaller ones you get from the chemist and so will last a while longer, or if you have more children. Also can be used by the grown ups to help with their dental routine or for demonstration...One caution is if left lying around and there is water, it may get in, or maybe it was just the odd one for us that had got torn when my son was separating them. I found purple dye spilling all over the tiles and it STAINS the grout.... plus can make a mess of the sink. On a positive note, the dye is plant based and not synthetic and will clean off the sink, (but not the grout - well I've not got it off, although the colour has faded to more of a pink not the dark purple).Over all a good product, price wise much better to buy a bigger pack, worked out about half the price of smaller shop available packs.

Great little tool to help your child clean their teeth better
I remember when I was a kid that the dentist came to our school and showed us all where the plaque was on our teeth by making use of the disclosure tablets, I therefore thought I’d try the same trick with my son and it’s been working brilliantly. He’s become a lot better and cleaning all the bits of his teeth rather than just the cursory brush he normally does. Good value for money and an effective teaching tool - only downside is you have to give the sink a really good clean down to make sure it doesn’t stain after.

Super product to highlight the plaque on my daughter’s teeth, so she can clean and not miss parts that the dentist has informed us she is missing . Colour can be brush away , without leaving stains, great taste , ideal for children , does stains the tongue but it does fade away . Would purchase again.

product works and does highlight plaque on your teeth in different colours awell. red for fresh plaque and blue for old hardened plaqueI didn't have any on my top teeth thankfully but a tiny bit I think showed up as red on my bottom front teeth. i didn't know though if I was supposed to just bite it or try and move it around my mouth to give it a chance to touch all of my teeth?the flavour is very very nice.it says to not eat it but it hard not to.
Chewing the Plaqsearch tablet after brushing can help identify plaque. Blue stains indicate old plaque, while red new To use product, open pack, take a tablet, chew it, and observe on your teeth.
