Great Workout... Until Part 3!
I've really enjoyed doing this DVD and I think it's really good for beginners. Part 1 is Beto showing you the dance moves step by step (this is also a good warm up). Part 2 is a 30 minute circuit of easy to do but pretty energetic Zumba routines, each lasting around 4 minutes each (you will be sweating by the end of it!). The other thing I really like about this video is Beto isn't an irritating presenter. He doesn't crack any crap jokes or throw in stupid comments, he just gets on with it and has a warming personality. You also have the option of turning off Beto's voice-over instructions which is a really good feature as you can just crack on with your workout to the music.Overall this is a really enjoyable DVD... until you get to part 3 - The Cardio Dance Party.There is only way to describe part 3 - a cringe worthy cheese fest. I don't know why, but Beto doesn't appear in Part 3 and instead it is hosted by a group of over the top, fake-enthusiastic American fitness freaks that just keep grinning, winking, smiling and high-fiving each other. It's so fake it put me right off. The dance routines are very advanced so if you are looking for an intense workout and can put up with a massive dose of cheese mongering, then this will work for you. I on the other hand prefer to exercise with normal human beings!

I love this!!
I purchased this DVD a few weeks back and upon it's arrival I had a "what was I thinking" moment, so it was put with all my other fitness DVDs for another day! However, having had a shock one morning and the bathroom scales not showing me what I really wanted to see, I decided it was time to get serious and do something to remedy my downhill slide! So out came my new DVD and I started to watch it to see why it has become so popular. That day was the best one I've had for a while. This DVD is fabulous. I am only attempting to do the Step-by-Step section where you are shown the basic steps at the moment, and believe me when I say, that's enough for anyone just starting out with this type of exercise. I would urge people to take it easy unless you're very active already or have done Latin dance! It's amazing fun and really works you hard. The instructor is very good and encouraging and the whole DVD is very well put together and it's such a lot of fun. I really do recommend this DVD to everyone who wants a really good workout and give you the feel good factor as well.

A good dvd
The Dvd consists of three parts: the introduction with step by step guide through choreographies, 30 minute choreography with the founder and two lovely instructors and finally a one hour workout. I must say that I find the first two parts very pleasant and I like the routines which are doable. The one hour dance I find a bit too pumped up..The first two parts look and feel like a zumba class, but the last one was a bitter disappointment. Nevertheless I will workout with the 30 minute routines until I get bored with it..Overall I like it, but I wish the full workout could be done the same one as the 30 minutes ones.

I purchased this DVD as I wanted some kind of fun exercise to do indoors while the weather was bad and couldn't work up the motivation to go running. I admit to being dubious about buying it as in the past when I've purchased work-out DVDs I've done them a couple of times then got bored or found them too difficult to follow so they just ended up gathering dust on the shelf. However I'm pleasantly surprised with this as the routines are easy to follow and don't drag on so long that you find yourself wishing it to be over. Nothing about the routines are too complicated so even beginners should get the hang of them quite quickly and it doesn't fall into the trap of other DVDs where the producers assume you have the floor space of a Ball Room so even if you have quite a small living room you should still be able to manage this. I also like the option where you can switch off the verbal instructions and just follow the routine and listen fully to the music. A very enjoyable work-out which I've done nearly every day since purchasing :-)

Not for beginners
I've never done Zumba before but I have been a dancer & was excited about trying this as a change to my normal routine.I found the routines really hard to follow, the pace is as expected... fast, which is great to raise my heart rate but without the awkward & at times incorrect audio prompts I would be dancing my own routines as it's so difficult to follow for a beginner

Best dance style exercise DVD out there at the moment
As good, if not better than a Zumba class you pay for as these guys are excellent and trained dancers who've not just paid £500 to attend a two day Zumba course and get a qualification saying they're competent. If you've done Zumba before go straight for cardio dance with instruction on. It's easy to follow and high intensity and lasts about 50-55 mins. It flies by and you'll be in the moment within seconds. I'm a seasoned dancer but still prefer to have the instruction on because it makes it feel more like a class. Seriously love this DVD and I've quite a collection and I'm far from bored.

Instant Enjoyment
I really love this DVD. It is energetic (in varying degrees), colourful and the presenters are obviously enjoying themselves so I did too . There are three sections: the first is quite lively but not not too taxing - good for someone new to Zumba. The second is more stretching and the last one is really energetic stuff perfect for the more experienced. I use it regularly, at the different levels depending on how energetic I feel at the time, and there is always something just right for me. As soon as I hear the music going I'm on my feet and ready for a work-out.

Having not done Zumba for a few years I found this a great, affordable reintroduction. It teaches the steps for those new to the system, gives you a 30 minute work out or a more high octane with 60 minutes with HIIT bursts to give your work out an extra boost. I guess if you just did this disc you could get bored. But I've invested in a couple of the old kits and the Wii game too so I can change it up. Good start up dvd.
