Top class headphones
I've spent a long time trying to find a pair of headphones which are small enough to be mobile, have excellent noise cancelling, plus excellent sound quality... and aren't made by Bose (i think they are overrated). These headphones, being on-ear, are small enough to fold up nicely for travel, but also offer fantastic sound quality which you'd expect from AKG. When it comes to noise cancelling, a pair of Bose Quiet Comfort 25's over-ear bluetooth headphones offer only a marginally better experience (a more expansive silence you could say) - but then you'd expect that due to the nature of them being over-ear, whereas these are on-ear and a lot more compact. I haven't had them long, but i've already decided these will be replacing my wired Sennheiser Momentum's as the new favourite. They fit well and they look really good. As they come with a standard jack cable you can use them wired also - meaning you can plug them into a DAC to get the very best sound (as for the bluetooth, they pair easily with Android phones).I'm not sure about the 2 star review written about these AKG's...i really don't care about whether headphones of this quality work with Alexa or Siri or whoever - if you want to fanny about with voice control and skip buttons then buy a pair of awful, artificially weighted Beats headphones and put them over your backwards facing "New York" cap. These are audiophile headphones, not a fashion statement for people who wear vests and buy i-Devices. If you want a pair of travel-friendly headphones that offer wireless and wired, top class noise cancelling and top class sound quality (WhatHifi don't give away 5 stars reviews for nothing) then these are the ones for you.I've done a lot of research and waited a long time to get these..they are worth every penny. I look forward to using these at work to help me ignore my co-workers ceaseless drone. Perfect.

Beats more expensive bose/sony/beats models (from a die hard bose fan). V good value for money
Love these. I'm a die hard bose fan and I tested these directly against the bose 700 noise cancelling, beats solo and the sony 1000mx3.I think the sound quality is better than both sony and Bose ( which are also very loose on the head). The akg are really comfortable. The sound is very balance and has a lot if depth to it. It is bluetooth and has a wire and the headphones fold in. Extremely impressed with the valueThe beats where tight and white uncomfortable whereas these feel comfortable yet secure. Good loudness volume. Noice cancellation isnt absolute like some of the massive over ear models but performs very well. It also minimises noise leakage so suitable for commuting.Compared directly and great value for money!

Best NC headphones is price range? Quite possibly.
These are my first pair of noise cancelling headphones and I’m very impressed with them. I did plenty of research and it was the AKGs that stood out for me. Beautifully packaged and supplied with a carry pouch, charge cable and a 3.5mm jack with a microphone. The build quality is great. All of the moving parts seems sturdy enough and the buttons on them are easy to locate and simple to use. They sit nicely on the ears and although the leatherette pads do get a little hot I was still able to wear them for long periods. The band is a little uncomfortable at first but to be honest I got used to it quickly. The NC automatically turns on when Bluetooth is enabled. It does a fantastic job of filtering out low frequencies but found it less effective when masking higher frequencies. Overall though it’s a great addition. The sound is very ‘AKG’. I own a pair of their K240 studio headphones which have a very distinctive sound. The N60NCs have their own sound too. Probably a little too heavy on the bottom end for my ears and I find the highs are quite muted. The mid range is lovely though. Not too harsh and not too subdued. After quite a few hours of use my ears are getting used to them. I also find them to be quite easy on the ear so ear fatigue isn’t so bad.Overall I’d recommend these headphones as for their price you’re getting a very decent bit of kit.

Brilliant set of headphones- preferred them over Bose QC35ii
I bought these and a set of Bose QC35ii to compare with the intention of keeping the set that I preferred. The Bose definitely had the better noise cancelling. The over ear design kept out more noise so they cut out about 85% of noise whereas these AKGs were around 75%.What swung it for me was that these AKGs simply sounded so much better to me. Maybe it was the AptX but these headphones seemed so much clearer whereas the Bose sounded muffled in comparison. The build quality of these are superb whereas I found the QC35s quite plasticky and cheap feeling in comparison.I found the on ear design extremely comfortable whereas I found my ears would lightly touch the inside of the Bose which was very annoying after only 30 mins or so.The biggest benefit is that these fold down so small that they fit into my coat pocket so I don't need to carry a bag or have them around my neck when I'm not using them.As a result I know I am far more likely to take these out and about with me.On my daily commute I must see about 20 pairs of Bose QC35s for every pair of these AKGs that I see. If you're going for pure noise cancelling then the Bose are the ones to go for but in every other respect I much preferred the AKGs. I tried each pair for a week and for the third week found that I reached for these so the Bose went back.

Awesome phones
I spent a long time researching wireless noise cancelling headphones, there’s some great products out there but I wanted the moon on a stick, great NC, easy to use, good battery life and compact but most importantly I really demanded a fantastic sound quality. It seemed that unless I spent a fortune I wouldn’t get all these features, then I came across these AKG gems. I have to say that these are unbelievably awesome headphones in all ways, comfy, light, awesome NC and the sound is in my opinion reference quality, and all for 200 quid. The quality of the product is also superb, real quality. You can forget about spending a fortune more for the prominent brands on the market, these are quite simply brilliant, stop your search and buy them.
