Quality is good and all work fine
Ordered 3 Sunday night, arrived Tuesday morning, now fitted. Quality is good and all work fine, switches are stiffer than the MK sockets they replaced but no issue really. Fitting was easy and took minutes the cable entry points on the back of the isockets are in a similar position to the old MK sockets so cable length was no issue. About to order 3 more so would definitely recommend.Update :- The 6 I have already fitted are still working well with no issues at all and are being used hard by the whole family. Many comments from people that have seen them in the house about what a good idea they are. The Mrs has changed the kitchen round so ordered 2 more for old plugs now exposed and have fitted these. They are exactly the same quality and brand (isocket) as before and are a doddle to fit and use. Even though these isockets only supply 1.5amp max to the USB verses some that deliver 2 amps these ones fit into a back-box of 22mm. Highly recommend.

Good idea and easy to set up
Good idea but is flawed in that the USB ports can not be turned off at the switch along with the plug sockets so unless you pull the USB wires out they will still be using electricity which is my understanding. The sockets itself has cleared up the amount of plugs and wires by my bedside which has to be a good thing. All in all I'm happy with this item but will be keeping an eye out for one that can be turn off altogether.

You do get what you pay for...
Must admit - it works OK and is finished well for the price + easy to fit . Bit of advice - use your phone photograph the existing wiring connections as you take off the old outlet before you rush into the job ... Says a lot - but I then went to screw fix for 2 x MK versions - much better made... but at twice the cost. You do get what you pay for...

2 Gang socket with USB
A super socket with USB charge outlets. Nice slim profile however be aware that I bought two of these sockets one as a direct replacement for a two gang socket which was relatively easy to do. The other socket was to fit in a one to two gang adaptor socket box (supplied by Amazon). This will not fit the adaptor box due to internal pillars in the adaptor. Looking at Amazons photos of the back of the Connekt 2 gang Socket w USB , it has a different arrangement and it may fit, but without being able to try it I cannot comment further.I have used an alternative way to mount the second 2 gang w USB.Very satisfied with the sockets which come in an easy to open bubble pack. Now happily charging my phone ands tablets etc.

Disappointing but fully refunded
Bought four of these as I was refurbishing the home office. Had them installed by a professional electrician. Several weeks later after the room had been painted I decided to test the USB ports. Any device I plugged in to the USB sockets caused the sockets to emit a high pitched whine. Very noticeable. I checked connections and the earthing all were fine. I contacted Amazon and asked for help, the immediately regarded this as a potential safety issue and refunded the price. I am very disappointed as others seem to have had good experience. I did install the MK brand I am familiar with and they worked flawlessly (no noise) although they were almost double the price.

Great idea but has quality issues.
I purchased this to free up some sockets which will being used continuously to charge mobile phones. It was no problem to install however the USB ports are slightly misaligned from the unit, this means that one of the USB ports doesn't quite fit when you insert a USB plug. It's been fitted now for approximately three months and one of the USB ports has stopped functioning. I will be looking to replace it with a better known brand.

Great value for a safer double-pole unit.
There are lots of similar products on the market but few have double-pole protection (which means protection on both the live and neutral feeds). This feature alone makes this product better than most: higher safety standards are good, right? The USB ports deliver a safe 1½ amps which is less likely to fry expensive devices if there's a fault than the 2 amp rivals. It's easy to install and shallow enough to fit into almost any backbox as a straight swap for another double socket. The USB ports are positioned so that even with large 'wall wart' transformers in the mains sockets the USB ports should still be accessible. One thing to note: when installing this the internal screws that grip the mains wires are Philips - most electrical screwdrivers are for slotted headed screws - so you'll need to have a cross-head screwdriver to hand to do those up tightly.

Decent outlet, room for improvement
Thought I'd write a bit of a review for this as I took a punt on getting them for the bedroom to free up bedside sockets and get the chargers out of the room!Overall design is OK; it would benefit from a slimmer profile. The terminals are quite close to the top of the unit which may cause issues if cables are fed in to the back box from above and on my iSocket the negative terminal was screwed so tightly that I almost stripped the screw to loosen it.Build quality is good if a little cheap feeling - switches require a firm prod rather than a press and any USB cable plugged in has a little 'wiggle' to it, although it's not in danger of falling out.I'm currently charging an iPhone 6 from it which seems to allow faster charging (which draws 2.1A) though I don't have my meter to hand.Screw covers (and screws) are included with the iSocket and are located like most units on the back so may appear hidden if you've not installed one before. No heat felt from the socket I have despite what other reviewers are saying though I can imagine if you have two newer USB devices drawing 2.1A each it may be at it's limit and some heat could be produced from that.
