Got it today after ordering on prime. No big box, fit nicely through the door in a cardboard envolope. As you can see from the photos, it works a treat! The cat LOVES it, she doesnt like being brushed much but this probably feels like a nce good scratch to her. As for the dogs, my male is a Malamute x Cattle dog (double coat), female is Malamute x Lab (single coat). Female doesnt have the kind of fur for a de-shedder really but it did a good job of collecting her lose fur into a tuft for easy clean up. Male needs daily brushing as his fur is thick and long, its normaly about an hours job and tiring, but WOW! This took about 30 mins for a full brush and not tiring at all! Plus i didnt have to faff around getting the fur out every 2 minutes, just a quick swipe after a few mins and it comes off ready to be used again. I suspect it will be quicker and easier from now on, as the previous brushes just didnt cut it, so it had a lot of work to do this first brush. Cat doesnt stay still, she walks around you wanting attention but the brush is a good size and ease of stroke that it still managed to pic up her thick fur easily from her just walking past. My ferrets winter coats occasionally need a brush, it doesnt do an amazing job as they dont shed a lot, it does however take out random dirt in their fur like fluff or substrate which is really good for keeping the coats healthy. Would be great for long haired animals like rabbits. Overall very happy with the brush, made my life a lot easier due to painful joints. Its a well made, solid brush, large handle with rubber gripping and light weight. Comes with a cover/protecter for the metal bristles too, which arent danerously sharp enough to cut yourself with but it stops things getting entangled.

I got this for my recently fostered German Shepherd, Tipu Dog, in Goa, India. His nose was bitten off by a leopard 2 years ago and for 2 years he hasn't been able to breathe or smell through it. On 22 August 2015 he had an operation to give him a new nose. He has to wear an Elizabethan collar for 6 weeks, and have further procedures under anaesthetic every 2 or 3 days. So he needed a treat, particularly as he was shedding so much hair! You can tell the quality of this brush as soon as you take it out of the packaging. It is cleverly and thoughtfully designed and easy to use and clean. It removes all the loose hair from him and lightly trims his undercoat. His coat is so so healthy and shiny now - despite the stress of his operation, lengthy hospital stay and being confined for so many weeks. He loves his brushing sessions, and if he ever gets restless or frustrated by being kept inside for these few weeks, I start brushing him and he calms down. He doesn't like his tail being brushed or held when he is standing up, but I have found that if he is lying down he is fine with it. So I can brush his tail now too! He is now one of the healthiest and shiniest looking dogs around! This brush is MUCH more effective than any other brush I have used - it is well worth the money. It is easy to use, the weight of the brush does the work, and the teeth are incredibly well designed. this is very nice, my dog loves it. very easy to use, and maintain her short coat in check.

I have a furminator but this product is better. Its costs lesser than the furminator. I have 2 cats. One has thin coat and so furminator or any other brush does not suit him because it hurts him. This one is perfect because it is not sharp but does its job well. Very nice product.

Terrific brush. Love this. Have always had the FURminator, but the wider head on this brush is so much more efficient.
