What do I need to connect it to a camera?

Hi, This would depend on what camera you are trying t use. If it is a Canon(93419) or Nikon(93402) SLDR you would require a T-Ring adapter for the model you have and a 1.25 universal adapter(93625), there is also a universal adapter with barlow you can get(93640). If it is a digital camera you can get the Universal Digital Camera Adapter(93626) which you would require to adjust the camera mount to the eyepiece.

What is the max magnification of this telescope? I have found binoculars which are 25x110 which are suppose to offer amazing details for star gazing

The main snag with binoculars is holding them still, which is essential for seeing any detail of anything. If you have a binocular stand, fine. Telescopes all come with stands - often computerised these days, which is marvellous. As regards magnification, 25x is fine for large objects like the moon and star clusters - but you won't see any detail on planets at that power (apart from being able to tell that they are planets and not stars). The maximum magnification of a telescope or of binoculars is determined by its aperture - you get about 24X per cm (with the right eyepiece). If you try and get more with a higher-power eyepiece you will just get a larger, blurrier object. As a separate matter, you can't get much more than 250X - 350X in northern latitudes anyway because of atmospheric conditions. This is no doubt why so many telescopes are sold with apertures in the 100 - 150mm range.
