So many tools today are as soft as chocolate, especially drill bits, taps and dies from China. A set of British taps and dies, made in the 50's, and little used, will fetch £50 or more. By today's standards, these are quite good and come at a bargain price, so one only gets what he pays for. Yes ... I'd go back again. This high quality set saved me £250
This is a high quality set, i had a cross threaded a nut on the chassis of my car. Because this set has 3 Taps, the first tap can be used as a thread cleaner as opposed to just cutting an entirely new thread.... This worked perfectly and the bolt went in first time..Recommended

Bought these to tap 4 holes in the block of a golf engine and they cut nicely and didn't snap, what more could be asked of them.

Low quality China taps
Wouldn’t recommend on anything but soft metals like ally. Any thing harder than that forget it even going really careful they eventually snap. Don’t waste your time spend a bit extra
