The best
The best kitchen scissors. Recommended by a friend and they have lived up to expectations. I didn’t think I could ever be this enthusiastic about kitchen scissors! They are a good size and very sharp - particularly helpful for raw meat. No more struggling with those old Ikea kitchen scissors! The star feature for me is the fact they come apart in 2 pieces, which allows for effective cleaning. Definitely worth the money. It saves a lot of time not having to use mediocre scissors or knives and a cutting board for appropriate items.

Really nice pair of kitchen scissors
I had no idea that OXO made kitchen equipment - I naively thought they just made stock cubes and awful TV ads in the 80s! It seems I've been missing a trick here with their equipment though... I was becoming more and more frustrated with the pair of scissors I was using in the kitchen. Probably the item I cut the most is chicken breasts or mini fillets and more recently I was finding that a bit of a struggle. Rather than one simple snip to cut through it was requiring more and more, especially to cut the sinew part on some of the breasts. I decided to look for some new scissors and quickly came across these OXO Good Grips Kitchen Herb Scissors. Lots of positive reviews so that's always a good start. When they arrived I was impressed at how they looked and felt, but that was nowhere near as satisfying as the sharp snipping noise they make. You can definitely feel the blades making good contact and they felt sharp. I decided to cut some chicken up, because that is pretty much what I bought them for, and they sheared through it like a knife through butter. Quick and easy and a satisfying noise during each snip. The scissors come apart easy so you can clean them which is a novel idea. The handles are quite large and perfect for my hands. My girlfriends hands are much smaller and she can use them OK but they don't open as wide for her, however she was still able to cut stuff so she's happy with them too. There isn't much to go wrong with these but I'll be interested to see how long they last. The next time I start struggling to cut chicken it will be a pretty good indicator that the scissors are blunt! I've not used the herb stripper (yet) so can't really comment on that part. It certainly wasn't a consideration for me when purchasing these scissors though. Pros: - Decent quality. - Sharp (with a satisfying snipping noise). - Come apart easily for cleaning. Neutral: - The handles are quite large, perfect for my hands but small hands may struggle to open them very far. Cons: - Perhaps £12 is a little expensive for a pair of scissors but I use them pretty much every day.

Good but not as large handles as I'd hoped.
I got them because other reviews said they had large handles; this is not particularly true and I am still on the lookout for a pair that fit my hands. Apart from therefore being a bit uncomfortable they're good.

Excellent!
We’ve had these 4 years now, they are frequently cleaned in the dishwasher and are in my opinion the best scissors I’ve ever had. They’re still sharp and haven’t corroded, neither has the plastic distorted in the dishwasher as other owners have reported. I’m getting another pair each for our grown up children - just hope they’ll perform as well for them as they have for us!

Great kitchen scissors
Used for 5 + years. Strong, good grip and balance , easily washed as in two parts. Easily sharpened. Not cheap but good value.

Excellent value for money.
Bought these to replace the same pair that I had for well over 10 years. New ones are excellent and are very easy to clean. Great value for money. Highly recommended.

Fantastic and very sharp beware.
Absolutely the best kitchen scissors I've ever possessed. Take care not to slice up the wash up sponge or tge tea towels. I wouldn't put in our dishwasher, fearing that they would lose their sharpness. They cut chives and other herbs like rosemary, thyme, or mint easily and perfectly, they trim fat etc off chicken thighs, pork chops or loin chops. They separate so easily for washing and after drying fit back together easily again. The scissors feel just right in my hands, despite my osteoarthritis I can use them without any pain or problem. I use them for so many other kitchen cutting tasks and they surprise me every time with their fantastic sharpness which actually makes a cutting instrument much safer, I think.
