L'Oreal Color Infallible Eyeshadow - Metallic Lilac - 037

The L'Oreal colour infallible Shadows are fantastic. They are available in a wide range of both shimmery and Matt colours. I have quite a large collection of them. This mid toned shimmery lilac shade is quite unique in my collection. It is a silvery metallic lilac. A very pretty and unusual colour. As with all the L'Oreal colour infallible eyeshadows the packaging is made of clear plastic with a screw off lid which has the colour name and number printed on a sticker on the top. The colour is clearly visible through the clear plastic at the bottom. When you screw off the lid there is a flat plastic stopper with a small handle which keeps the product neat and flat and together inside the pot. The eyeshadow powder itself sticks together within the container but when applied it is dry and is easily blendable on your eye area. The colour stays put for many hours although I cannot say it lasts for 24 hours which the product does claim, however on a night out it is looking immaculate for a minimum of 6 hours and I find it does not crease or move from wherever it is put. I do advise that and eyeshadow base is used on your eyelid. This will help the product to stick to the skin. It does look a little like loose Glitter but it is not. It is a powder which does produce a tiny amount of fall out when applied so I always do my eye makeup first and the rest of my face last. It is very easy to remove using liquid makeup remover or make-up wipes and cleanser.

The media could not be loaded. I disliked it as the base if the product encomoassibg the actual powder was not secured so when I opened it the whole thing landed on the bathroom floor and became a pile of dust.

Colour was true to the marketing picture. It goes on really easily, without flaking etc. Very pleased.

Not true to colour! Wanted a muted (not bright) purple, but this is A SHINY GREY!

A lovely colour powder but slightly messy to apply so that I found patting it on with a finger or Q tip easiest. It stays on well all night & adds a lovely sheen. The upside down pot is a bit daft but does have an inside cover to it.
