I purchased this, and it is the first and only Microphone -Encapsulating Microphone Shield/Noise Eleminator I have ever owned.. and its probably the Only One i ever will buy!! Because its absolutely outstanding! This item around my Neuman U-87 Condensor mic ( Which if you are experienced with these amazing mics, you know exactly how insanely sensative they are!! No Joke, you can litteraly hear your own heartbeat when these things are turned up high enough with the right preamp!) and this quality made, but very effective and extremly affordable product served my purposes perfectly! It is well made, packaged and the removable wind screen is also well made and attractive. It has a inner removable sort of foam tube shaped sleeve to allow for various diff diameter and perhaps styles of Mics to be used. I guess one could remove that sleeve and perhhaps fit a dynamic microphone on the boom stand inside of this thing! Its fantastic! If you are on the fence about this item being "Cheap" and "Junk" and not effectviely cancelling out and denying the reflections of sound from the room you are in while recording on a highly sensative Condenser mic... well.. to my ears and for my personal needs ( and i am very experienced in Audio/Recording/Sound Engineering and Audio Recording) Then you can go wrong with this item! Its outstanding! I am glad i took a chance on it because I could have paid a LOT MORE for essentially the same item ! Its a great buy!

After receiving the product. I was expecting the arm stand to be with it. That is how the post was portrayed. After reading it says that the stand comes with it, but they don't specify which stand it comes with. In my opinion that is kind of deceitful. Other than that it's pretty okay.

The package was good. The mic stand comes inside the foam. The quality of the foam shield and pop filter are amazing for the price. Really unbeatable. Sound quality when recording definitely cuts out the background noise in my apartment. The mini stand is all plastic but very durable with 3 different pieces to switch easily between using it as a phone holder when reading/ recording or between 2 different style mic pieces. Very easy to use and light weight.

This definitely lowered my noise floor, which is exactly what I needed! I’m getting into UGC and voiceover work, so this was a much-needed upgrade. One thing to note—it’s just as big as people say it is! But even with the size, my cheap, desk-mounted mic arm had no problem holding it up. Also, make sure your microphone is pushed as far into the hole as your shock mount allows. At first, mine wasn’t fully inserted, and I didn’t notice any change. Once I adjusted it properly, the difference in noise floor was immediate. Great product overall—just be sure to set it up right to get the full benefit.

as title says, main issue is if you put the bottom foam piece that blocks out noises from entering underneath the hole then u block half of the capsule, and without that piece on it still captures humming and other stuff, does a great job of capturing sound though and isolating it but it just captures a little too much more than the voice even with the db turned down

Amazing product at an even better price. I put this on my mic and all the background noise is now gone. Couldn't be happier now my clients won't be wondering what I said when the furnace kicks in.
