Lovely bright colours
Easy to fill nectar and the bright colours attract the butterflies to investigate so they discover the easy ready meal laid on for them. I have had to put a stone on it so the wind does not blow it away. Good Lue for money.

Very colourful Butterfly Feeder.
As described, very colourful (hopefully shoud attract butterflies)butterfly feeder. Lightweight and can be hung or placed freestanding. 4x wicks/feeding points and a reservoir for sugar feeding solution (clear so visible to see solution level).Sturdy (plastic).Just need to now wait and see if the butterflies like it as much as I do!

Not impressed
It states you can hang the feeder but it just leaks everywhere - really not good. Left it lying flat filled with butterfly food - absolutely no takers....

Overall rating: okay, but could be improved
I have purchased this butterfly feeder for my insect lore butterfly habitat. I wanted to watch and feed my butterflies for a few days before releasing them into nature. When I first got the product, I didn't see anything wrong with it, the plastic is quite sturdy and it seems fine. (The colours are too bright for my taste, but I suppose butterflies like it!).When I first filled it with the feeding mixture I noticed a couple of problems:The feeder is not "leakproof" that means if you fill it with ca. 100 ml of water, it will leak out between the flowers on top and the base. It's quite a mess when you get that sugar water all over your kitchen floor. Also, the surface is too smooth. I could actually watch my butterflies struggling to sit on it and get a grip with their tiny legs.Overall, I think it could be improved, but my butterflies are in captivity and they accept it. As I don't have a garden, I couldn't try it outside to see if it would attract any wild butterflies.

Nice and bright
Living in the UK I bought this for 'nectar' for butterflies, moths and tired bees. It's easy to fill and I left it on a raised bed in the sun near the plants the bees get the pollen from. I've had it several months but not seen any of the intended visitors yet although there hardly seems to be any insects or butterflies around. I think it needs to be high ish up as the bees struggle to take off from the ground but it is a difficult thing to hang because there is no central point to do so from and if it waves around too much the sugar water could come out. I'm still glad I got it, the colours are right, I'll be glad when I see it being used.

looks great!!
Just arrived today. Much brighter than picture. I'm waiting for my caterpillars to arrive later in the week so for now it's on the garden table. Haven't had any butterflies on it yet but I'm sure they'll be along soon.
