Q: Controller fails to lock motor shaft. not properly setting ena after move ( f-01->p03 self-locking ) why?

When working in P03 mode, the motor starts to rotate after pressing CW or CCW; STOP the rotation when you press the RUN/STOP button.

Q: Does this have a mode for one rotation per start input? I want it to turn one rotation and stop each time it receives an input from a micro switch

You can't directly set the number of turns of motion, you need to mediate the parameters of the F-02 and F04 several times to get the desired result.

Q: Are the pin connections for stepper driver accessable?

Yes, all the pins of the white socket can be directly connected to the stepper driver.

Q: does it come with a connector? are there specific wiring instructions included?

Yes it comes with a connector and wires. Approximately 6” long. You can download the instructions off the internet. Search for ZK-SMC01 for instructions. The step & direction outputs output 3.3Vdc through a built in current limiting resistor.
