Mack's Ultra Soft Foam Earplugs 10 Pairs

I'm a light sleeper and needed something that would prevent me from waking me from the slightest of sounds. I'd never really thought about foam ear plugs before and I regret not discovering them sooner as they are very effective. I watched a few reviews and first tried a pair of 3M 1100 which the reviewer said were the most effective but not very comfortable. They turned out to be quite uncomfortable and fell out of my ear a few times when sleeping so I tried the Mack's Ultra Soft Ear Plugs and haven't looked back. I have mid sized ear canals and these ear plugs are very comfortable (as long as I don't put them in too deep) and effective at drowning out sounds i.e making them sound more muffled and distant. I use them to sleep at night and not once have they fallen out in the month or so I have had them. I do feel a slight itch in my ears after taking them out but I think that will be the case with any foam ear plugs I use. Overall, I am very pleased with this product and probably won't buy any other ear plugs apart from these as they seem to work fine for me in effectiveness and comfort.

THE BEST. imho. I long-term tested ten different earplugs for sleeping, on several criteria including comfort, sound blocking, reliability, adjust-ability, re-usability and price per unit. These Mack's Ultra Soft Foam Earplugs were head and shoulders the best for sleeping. They are incredibly light and soft, so give no pressure inside the ear, and yet they have slightly more sound defense than any of the others. They are soft enough and short enough, to give no unwanted sensations when side-sleeping. They stay in the ear all night, and for those like who want to, they can be partially retracted during the night for adjusted comfort, and they still stay in. I reused one pair for 20 nights in succession, and only then did I need to refresh to a new pair. This also made them equally economical to others. They are easy to insert once you get the knack of the twist-as-you-insert method, and were easy to remove, with no instances at all of getting stuck in the ear. As a bonus they have a handy plastic tube to keep them in, which is extremely handy. The remaining pairs of all the others brands I tested are now in the bin, and I have stocked up on these. I hope this saves you the trouble of testing many brands.

These are the most comfortable and effective ear plugs I have used.Packaged in a useful container. Seem to last longer than others. Good value

No noise cancellation at all despite the high price. Very disappointing.

After suffering a great deal of many nights with my fiancee snoring her little head off and the curtains being sucked in and blown out and no let up in sight, I decided to hunt for a very decent pair of "Snore Resistant" plugs.These are very good at blocking out quite a lot if your better half "pig snores" lol. 32dB, skinned and tapered - the product description is very accurate.I ordered another set too, see separate review.I've been wearing ear plugs since the early Nineties, as I have an acute sense of hearing, which becomes more sensitive as the evening draws on.My mother is in the same situation with my father, and I gave her a pair of these to try, the verdict - success - we can now have a decent nights sleep without digging into the ribs and kicking into shins.Back to these, and I reckon for the price tag of just over £3.50 - these offer better value for money, performance and longevity than those purchased from your chemist or one's you'd find in a supermarket travel section. I bought these based on previous reviews and generally, I wasn't disappointed. The price is reasonable and the quality is good. They are comfortable and work very well when inserted properly - but that is not always easy. They are softer than some others that I've tried before and that makes them more difficult to insert properly to ensure a good seal for optimum sound deadening. Sometimes it can take me 4 or 5 attempts to get a good fit. However they are definitely reusable (one of the factors for choosing these) - in fact I'm still on my first pair that I've been using for a couple of weeks. I bought three packets, so they should last me for a couple of years at this rate!!

These are the best ones I have tried I work nights so trying to sleep in the daytime with all the sounds of the neighbours mowing their lawns and cars going past blocks out the noise really well and very comfortable for sleeping in
