There are a lot of people in the professional world who don't like behringer, but I've got 4 of their mixers and never had a problem. They are packed with everything you need for studio or touring. The faders and buttons are sturdy, the FX are great, although I would like a fader rather than a knob on the effects return. The EQ is very responsive. All the channels have solo lights which is very useful and it's something that the Yamaha MG models don't have. All-in-all you get a lot for your money. If you are thinking of using this for touring then it will need a very sturdy case, it's won't take the rough handling a Yamaha will. Soundwise I link mine up to RCF 912s and there is no background hiss at all, not even when there is no sound being sent through.Do you get the same sound quality you get from a yamaha - this I can't say yes to, the quality is good, it sounds great and no one would say it doesn't sound right, but there seems to be a little more clarity with the yamaha, but I couldn't put my finger on why.Behringer have hit the ball out of the park with their QX series, these mixers have everything you need and you aren't paying an arm and a leg for them.

The effects are really good and the mixer is easy to use and sound quality is fantastic

Excellent product

I really couldn't recommend this deck, as I'm not sure who would find it useful, its definitely not up to any professional standard. We bother it for mixing a demo track and the noise + distortion was really distracting. Its possible we had a dodgy unit, but still, it wasn't very useful for us at all.
