I can't, for the life of me, understand why British schools haven't cottoned-on to the great educational value of the comic strip, as an effective tool in the teaching of a foreign language. Adults learners would also find them incredibly helpful, once they've progressed beyond the basics of the language, and are ready to tackle simple, straightforward, colloquial French.
