(I bought this when it was twenty one quid, delivered from Amazon)Really enjoyable kit to build. There are a few fiddly bits, particularly routing the wiring neatly near the end, and also being careful to m ake sure you keep certain components orientated correctly in relation to other component while putting larger structures together, but definitely nothing a ten year wouldn't be capable of.Unlike some kits I've put together, it's fairly easy to get back into the battery compartment (just one screw) but getting the battery holder OUT of the compartment is pretty tricky, as it's wedged in their pretty tight.Of the two modes, the runaway mode is more satisfying, as all it has to do is scarper, whereas the follow mode doesn't work all that well - it always seems to be more like a walk past you into a wall mode. Still, lots of fun for cats and the frill-flapping is brilliant.Pretty fast build if you're not TOO fussy about finishing the sprue marks - I just trimmed them with a side-cutter and a nail file. Highly recommended.

This is a great toy, very impressive when built. My son is just 12 and did need help with instructions though.

I bought this item for my Grandson as part of his Christmas present. He likes things he can build and which are animatronic so this was perfect. So if you have got a relative who likes that sort of thing then this the thing to buy.

This came without a piece we needed. Still, my husband was able to piece it together with a spare plastic rod we had. Then, it broke within a short time. First the head, then the tail. My daughter is extremely careful with her toys, and even in her babying it, it broke. It still kind of works, and we just keep Frankensteining it to make it last longer. Was her birthday present and she is a bit gutted it didn't work out better. Not worthless, but definitely frustrating to deal with.

Generally pretty easy to construct by a 10 year old, but there were some bits where adult strength was needed in order to get the pieces tightly enough together so that things interlocked properly. The resulting 'robot' moves quite quickly and is fun. Generally my daughter was very happy so I'd recommend this.

This has been purchased as a christmas present. From what I have seen it is good .

Spent a few hours building this with my granddaughter, an enjoyable time putting it together, but it did not work very well, the backwards/forwards gear was damaged (no teeth left on it) soon after we turned it on.

Mon fils de 11 ans a adoré monter ce robot mais au moment de connecter le moteur , les fils étaient trop court de 2 cm.Donc nécessité de les couper et de les rallonger avec des fils identiques.Pour bricoleurs équipés...

Il montaggio di questo giocattolo è difficilissimo e soprattutto i pezzi sono difettosi. Ho intenzione di scrivere al rivenditore per chiedere il rimborso! I fili del congegno elettrico sono saldati male e sono guasti. NON FUNZIONA!!!! Altri pezzi si sono rotti nel montaggio: è tutta plastica e di pessima qualità! Assolutamente da non comprare!!!!!

Der Zusammenbau hat auf jeden Fall sehr viel Spaß gemacht und es hat auch gut funktioniert. Man muss allerdings schon sehr vorsichtig sein, dass man kein Kleinteil kaputt macht, denn die Qualität ist nicht so prickelnd. Außerdem funktionieren die Modi eigentlich überhaupt nicht, weder folgt einem das Tier, noch läuft es vor einem davon. Das bedeutet, dass der Lizard eigentlich einfach wild durch die Gegend rennt, egal welchen Modus man gewählt hat. Dennoch insgesamt ganz nette Beschäftigung für 2-3 Abende (Zusammenbau) und der Spielzeit danach...

Le montage du robot s'est bien passé et suivi à la lettre alors qu'il fonctionne lorsqu'on le tient en main et sans les pattes, il ne fonctionne plus lorsqu'on le pose sur le sol et/ou lorsque les pattes sont mises . Bref vraiment déçu.Je ne recommande pas cet objet.
