Great coat at a lovely price
Great coat, I bought this for walking the dog, it's not too heavy but warm enough and should keep me dry! I bought an XL as I figured I might want to wear some layers under (I am usually a 14/16 size jacket) and it's a nice fit with a little room and a good length.

Flattering fit. Pebble is a gre/beige colour with grey fake fur removable trim
Nice and flattering shape. I'm a 16 so got an XL after reading other reviews. It fits great and I think I could also get a thicker jumper on underneath. The pebble is a light grey, slightly beige (more grey than beige) colour. Fur trim is different shades of grey. It is thin/lightweight but warm enough for autumn/spring and also winter if you wear a thick jumper or fleece underneath. The first coat sent had a fault with the zip but the replacement came next day no quibble and is great. I bought this on offer at just over £28 and I feel I have got a bargain. The fur trim is nice, is removable, but needed a good fluff-up as a little squished on arrival. Nice coat.

Lovely and warm winter jacket
After reading the reviews for this coat, decided to give it a try. I'm a big busted size 14 so went for the large and it fitted well. The jacket is well made, nice length and has a flaterring shape. It is light for a winter coat but warm enough to the point where on some occasions, I felt boiling hot. It's definitely water proof although the material may not seem like it. I am pleased with this purchase. The only bit I wasn't pleased about, was the state in which I received the jacket. It was dirty and appeared to be in a slightly used state (armpits had a deodorant scent as it has been previously worn or tried on). Contacted seller who offered a partial refund as I didn't have the time to return it for an exchange. Buyer beware. Just be mindful that you may not get what you paid for. Always check that you are not receiving second hand goods instead of new.

Great coat, bargain
Love this coat so much have ordered one straight away for my sister for Christmas. Great quality, arrived really quickly. It’s warm, waterproof with a very effective hood that does not blow loose in the rain. Highly recommended for the money but does run slightly small. I’m a 12 and ordered large which is just big enough to put a jumper under so glad I didn’t go for a medium which I was tempted to

The perfect winter jacket
This is truly the perfect winter jacket! It's waterproof, warm, shaped at the waist, has a great hood and zipped pockets. The length is perfect for winter as it comes to mid thigh. I would suggest sizing up. I normally wear a UK size 10 but found the medium was a better fit than the small, especially if I want to wear bulkier clothing underneath.

Bad points: Ordered a medium
Bad points: Ordered a medium...reviews suggested that I get a medium for my size but the coat is a bit too loose however not a major problem as I can layer up underneath. Sleeves are also a little long. Zip isnt as easy to do up as the bottom sticks a bit and will not be suprised if it breaks before winter is over. Its a bit of a nosiy coat.Good points: It is lovely fabric, very warm and waterproof. Lenghth is perfect as I like winter coats to cover my bum. Fitted at the waist which Improves the look slightly. If I was to re-order I would get a small. Im a size 10 5 ft 4.Probably will only use this coat for work/dog walking/casual activities.

Snug as a bug in this coat
I ordered this coat because I was looking for a water and windproof coat and most of all because of the colour. I first ordered a size M (I am 5 foot 6 tall and weigh 9 1/2 stone) but I found it a bit tight under the arms to wear with a fleece which I needed with the recent cold spell. Therefore I exchanged the coat for a Large which is generous and accommodates even a thick fleece. I love the colour which is exactly like in the picture. The coat is 'noisy' but I don't mind it. It keeps the wind out nicely and seems to be waterproof but I haven't been in a real downpour recently. The only negative point is the temperamental zip: It takes sometimes 5, 6 attempts to line up the two zips.

Tried this XL size Trespass Jacket on in a store to ensure sizing was correct prior to ordering from Amazon. When the coat arrived from Amazon it was too small and was more in keeping with the size L coat I had tried on. The hood did not seem to correspond to the jacket size either as it did not fully cover my head and I suspect that as it is a detachable hood it had been fitted to the wrong jacket at the factory. These may be 2nds stock, hence the problems I encountered. I currently own a Regatta jacket size 14 which is actually bigger than this XL Trespass jacket so beware of sizing when ordering. Despite emailing Amazon regarding these issues I have had no response so suspect the return postage fee deducted from my refund will not be forthcoming. I will be purchasing the XL Trespass jacket from the local store I tried it on in, despite it being more expensive, and will not be buying clothing items from Amazon again without checking that there are no costs involved in returning it.
