It's Okay To Be Different (Todd Parr Classics)

Found this book to be very helpful for my 5 year old daughter in explaining to her about racial differences and how everyone is different but everyone is the same. The book is funny and has wonderfully wacky drawings that she really enjoys. The style of the book is fun but all the same the message is important. For adoptive parents with children from different racial backgrounds this book is really useful in gently reminding children on how similar we all are, despite obvious racial differences.

This book is fantastic! Both my 3 and 5 year old enjoy it, as it has such bright and colourful illustrations. I love the message in this book, it talks about serious topics like adoption, race and disabilities, which my 5 year old wanted to discuss further. I’m trying to bring my children up to be kind, empathetic people, and diverse books like this really help :)

Loved by my daughter and all of her friends. Such an important message and reassuring to the children - you can see the relief and positivity in their demeanour as they read it. A must have & keep. Excellent artwork too.

Great book. Recently had a few situations with our 4 year old asking people innocent but inappropriate questions about their appearance. This book is a great way to address this curiosity and make them realise that it's ok to look different.

This is such a lovely book.It’s written with such tenderness.My two little boys who are almost 3 and 6 really enjoy it.I love the way that it makes them appreciate that everyone is different and that’s fine.Really love it and I would recommend it to anyone who wants their children to be accepting and open minded.

My kid loves to look at the pictures and the words are easy to understand. The size is good for bedtime reading and the content shares good values to kids.

Love the book and it's the perfect size but it arrived damaged. Very disappointed.
