There must be better on the market
This book does have some very helpful information and tips for those of us who suffer the pain and discomfort of Piriformis Syndrome. However, this is over shadowed by how poorly the book is written and edited. The poor writing style hinders reading. As for the medical illustrations, they would be of great help to the reader if it was possible to see them. Even with a x10 magnifier I was not able to read the labels on the line drawings. And often the text makes reference to an illustration that is not even on the mentioned page! The editor and publishers should be shot! Although helpful, I'm sure there are other much better publications available.

Okay but not great
Provides a great description of the bodies components that relate to this extremely painful condition but does very little to describe how to avoid it or help recover from it. Yes, they are exercises in it but these are loosely described at the very end of the book. The diagrams are also too small to read!

Sciatica/Piriformis sydndrome
Sciatica/ Piriformis Syndrome- What, Where, How & WhyI sent for this book at a really low point in my life after suffering several episodes of severe pain with sciatica and piriformis syndrome and having had a lot of time off work sick. I was beginning to think I was never going to recover or lead a normal life again and physiotherapy and stretching was agonising and seemed to be making things worse instead of better. When the book arrived I was a litle surprised at how small it was for the price but what a valuable little book it turned out to be. From the moment I started reading it suddenly everything made sense and following the exercises and recommendations really set me on the road to recovery, in fact I have just lent it to a colleague who is having the same problem. Expensive but invaluable and worth every penny to me.
