Does work - even on merino wool
Short version:Yes, it DOES work on wool! You'll need to be quite rough with a brush but it will workSmells awfulI bought this very specifically for some merino wool tops. Merino doesn't need washing very much, you can wear the same thing for a few weeks without it smelling or needing washing. Unfortunately, if you use antiperspirant, because you wash merino far less, it builds up and one day you realise that while your t-shirt smells and looks fine, there's a very unpleasant sticky cold bit in your pits which you simply cannot shift by normal washing.I was worried about using DeoGo because all the marketing points out it's super strong, should really be used for white shirts only etc., so you'd think it'd destroy something as fragile as wool. However, it's mostly muriatic/hydrochloric acid. This sounds bad for wool. It is not. When a fleece is taken from a sheep, it is washed in a solution to get rid of all the gunk, dirt etc. to leave the wool pristine and ready for use. That solution is mostly hydrochloric acid. So basically, this is a spray bottle of stuff that is used to clean wool all the time without damaging the fibres.Side note - it might be that my antiperspirant residue was really thick, but don't expect this stuff to just magically dissolve the gun. You need to put in some proper elbow grease both before washing, and after, using a really stiff brush - I use the sort of nylon brush you'd use to bash dried mud off of boots. The DeoGo seems to lift the gunk onto the top of the world fibres so you may find when your clothes come ou of the washing machine, they'll have white foamy patches in the pits. If you bash these with a stiff brush while still wet, they'll disappear and you'll have a clean top, exactly what I wanted.Only downside is that it smells pretty awful, like hair dye, and your clothes will smell faintly of it after washing no matter how much you rinse them. The smell does fade quick though once dry and you wear it.

Great product
Worked really well on some lightly stained shirts. Do be careful on heavily stained clothes or thicker fabric, especially lighter colors. While it will remove some of the stains it can leave some of the deodorant residue behind making armpits look wet. I suspect a few more applications and longer soaking will resolve this. For maintenance of newer items, ensuring deodorant buildup doesn't happen, this is great. Have used it on a variety of colors, including white, and doesn't case any discoloration.Do be careful when handling it, however, as it can dry out your hands, so be sure to wash them straight after using this.

Brilliant product - has rescued 5 shirts from the bin!
After ironing 5 of my shirts and then hanging them up, I was on the verge of chucking them all out...underarm staining was ruining them (I've chucked many shirts away down the years that were otherwise fine)After some research and suggestions involving vinegar and other unpleasantly arduous home remedies, I discovered this stuff and thought it worth giving a try. After one application and wash, it has rescued those 5 shirts from the bin.Firstly, for anyone who is worried about this stuff discolouring shirts, the bottle does suggest trying it on a small area first. Frankly, I couldn't be bothered with this. If it didn't resolve the underarm stains, the shirts were going in the bin. If the colour in the shirts did run, they were going in the bin...so I didn't see any point in wasting time on that step.I then followed the instructions - make sure the area is soaked in the fluid, scrub with a brush, leave a bit and then wash (separately from other non-applied clothes). I was amazed at how good the results were - my white shirt, easily the worst affected, is now 100% improved. And I applied Deo-Go to a number of stripey and coloured shirts - all now similarly improved.Delighted with this product - £9.99 to save 5 shirts and still with at least 3/4 of a bottle left in case more applications are needed (although I would totally recommend L'Oreal's Carbon Protect as the potential deodorant to nullify this likelihood).I would highly recommend this product.

MIRACLE PRODUCT
This product is pure gold!I am a lover of white clothing, I wear white t-shirts and shirts most days - especially for layering underneath other clothing. I have had issues with deodorant and sweat marks for as long as I can remember and they form so quickly. I have been trying different products and home remedies for removing them for years and nothing has ever worked. It at times has made it better but nothing remarkable.I came across this and my first thought was that it was expensive. However, I thought I’d give it a go and if it didn’t work - at least I had tried and I wouldn’t get it again obviously. But I’m so glad I bought this - I kid you not, I sprayed all the armpits of my white clothing and gave them all a light scrub with a soft toothbrush, waited thirty minutes and popped them on a wash. When they came out, I was amazed! Every single item of clothing came out and the stains were either gone or extremely faint and I reckon with one more attempt on certain items, they will too be gone! It is so worth the money especially when you think of all the value of your clothing that is unwearable due to deodorant marks.I had also had a fairly expensive white sweatshirt that after two wears, I had managed to get an oil stain on the chest and again, I tried everything and nothing worked so it’s been sat folded in a bottom drawer for months and when the product worked so well on the underarms. I thought I’d give it a try on that and see! It completely removed the stains. I couldn’t believe it.I don’t normally write reviews and I know it’s just a cleaning product but this product has saved so many pieces of clothing and made me feel like I’ve not just burned my money away on things I can’t even use after a short period. It’s a must have in your laundry kit.I’ll be buying many more for sure.
