A surprisingly great battery!
Worked right as expected out the box and charged like brand new. Also has a little bit more battery life than the official Nintendo product due to the bigger cells. Perfectly fit the controller and super easy to install (literally just pop the old wire out and click the new one in). I would say though that the screwdriver they provide is ridiculously small and you should definitely get your own to take off the back panel. Other than that this was well worth the money!

Very good. Fits wii u. w 4x mAh doesnt add much extra time. 6 hours is very doable though.
I bought a used wii u on ebay. Its basstery lasted 3 to 4 hours before the gamepad red light would come on. And then within an hour it would shut off. I had no baseline for whether that was good or bad having never owned a wii u. This battery from amazon: Pros: It fits... it has the correct connector which other wii u sellers are struggling with right now. It gives me 4 hours of use between full charge and the red light coming on. This is about the same as the much smaller original battery my gamepad came with. It did last another 2 hours with the red solid and then flashing light before completely shutting off. So it is marginally more time (all while playing Assassins Creed 3, which constantly has the gamepad screen in full use). Price is completely reasonable. Im actually surprised how little wii u replacement batteries cost. This is no exception. Cons: None Neutrals: This battery shows as having about 4 times the capacity as my original battery, but that isnt translating to more than maybe an hour of extra use. But Ive bought a 10ft wii u charging cable on amazon for about $8 that just plugs into a wall wart. I keep it near my gaming chair so I can keep playing as long as I want. In summary, it fits properly, added about an hour of playing time compared to the original Nintendo battery that is quite old. The price is very reasonable. But for being 4x the capacity of the original battery, this battery is underperformed. All in all, it works, and by keeping a wii u gamepad charging cable near my gaming chair, I have absolutely no challen g es gaming for as long as I want. Other products with the same capacity and high reviews are currently (end of 2025, start of 2026) shipping with connectors that do not fit into the wii u. Be sure to sort reviews by date before decided, and know that the correct connector should not be difficult to plug in. Dont damage your wii u by trying to force one that isnt plugging in. You can damage your wii over a <$20 battery. As of Jan 2026, THIS item is shipping with the correct connector. Overall, I recommend it.

Good Battery, bad screwdriver.
Screwdriver that came with didn’t work. Luckily I had other small screwdrivers that could would. Battery works perfectly as intended so far.

Perfect replacement battery for my controller—lasts longer than the original. Comes with tools, which is super handy. Slightly tricky to insert at first, but nothing unmanageable.

La batería fue muy fácil de instalar, el desarmador que viene incluido es adecuado para retirar los tornillos del control, el cable de la batería se conecta muy fácil y la duración de la carga también es mucho mejor que la de la batería original. Espero que dure funcionando correctamente por mucho tiempo.

La batería llegó en buen estado (se nota que los de esta marca, UCEC, les importó que llegará en buen estado, ya que la batería llegó en paquete de cartón con bolsas de aire para prevenir que la batería se dañará en la transportación). Aunque los cables de la batería eran un poco trabajoso acomodarlos en el espacio, el conector si encajo apenas (a diferencia de mi previa compra de una batería de otra marca que me decepcionó por tener un mal conector). En fin, probé el Gamepad, y jugué 3 horas aproximadamente. La batería aun estaba lleno para mi sorpresa. Me encantó. Les doy 5 estrellas. Se los recomiendo.
