Good taste great price come with a lot for a while

At 1st I thought this is way too many to buy at a time, but it is worth it! My husband uses SPLENDA in his coffee every day and we use it as a sweetener for some of our treats! I was purchasing the 200 count every time we needed. Seemed like we were saving money, but when we saw the 800 count and could get a deal with subscription-it's the only way I buy it now! I do take the packets out of the box and store them in airtight canisters (OXO) and they hold up fine!

I have been using Stevia for a while but always liked the taste of Splenda better. I read that Stevia was the only safe sugar substitute a while ago. I did some research recently and found that now, it is being reported that Splenda (sucralose) is safe when consumed in normal or even larger amounts. If you sit down and consume all the packets in one sitting, you may end up with some issues. But as far as a cancer risk, there doesn't appear to be a strong link. Having read that, I ordered this box of Splenda packets. Each yellow package is good for one large iced tea that I drink. I drink two iced teas per day so this box will last for a long time. I don't generally use any type of sweetener other than sugar for anything else. I use sugar when I bake because my husband won't eat or drink anything with any other sweetener. So it is safe to say that I have enough packets to last me for ages. The expiration date is a year from now so I am not worried that they will go bad before I can finish them. I like the taste, lack of calories, and convenience of Splenda and this big box will last a long time so I won't have to repurchase often. Sugar may (or may not) be better health-wise than sugar derived sweeteners but I feel Splenda is safe when used as I do - two packets a day. This was a good value!
