Small but brilliant
Brought it for my son who thought it was amazing smaller than it looked but the quality of the sound was excellent, the only slight criticism is you need to buy a separate charger for the battery which wasn't made clear at the time of buying thought it would fit on the original Makita charger we had for other Makita products but it didn't.

Good quality (physical and sound). Great bit of kit.
Very good little radio, with even a half charged battery still pumps out music at a very high volume. Not amazing bass but for an easily portable radio, it does more than needed. The hook is quite handy to hang it up as well. Definitely worth the money. When being used at work for 8hrs a day at high volume, a 2.0ah battery lasts just over 2 days which I think is good!

Needs 12v battery
Lovely product just remember you need a 12v battery to use it. Would of been a lot better with 18v

Nice Sound but a little expensive.
It is not so 'Bass' heavy as some of the larger and more pricey Makita radios. There is no option to alter the treble or bass.

wrong battery
I already own makita sander, hedge trimmers and drill and was under the impression that 1 battery fits all makita products. That is why i chose this radio. This is not the case , i now have to spend again buying a different sized battery and charger.

Nice bit of kit 👍🏻
Small enough to keep in the tool box and pretty loud with good sound quality, normally get 2-3 days per battery and have never needed to use a full volume
