Very well engineered - end result is excellent - definitely recommend this. The door-spring is surprisingly strong. Good if this is going to be located where small children may access as they are unlikely to be able to 'unlock' it. Like others, my only criticism would be the lack of English installation instructions and easy of installation. I was fitting into tileboard. Screw fitting alone would not have been strong enough - especially given the strength of the door hinge/spring. In addition to screws, I chose to run tile adhesive between the flat aluminium surround and the back of the tileboard and then more adhesive over the screws. This has created a really secure fit.

Works well for access in a shower area.

I needed access behind a concealed toilet so chose this as the plasterboard exterior could be tiled over. Bear in mind you'd need to leave a fairly large gap at the top to allow the hatch to open if using thicker tiles but thinner ceramic ones will be fine.

Well made & a great idea. But be warned, they are awkward to fit.No English instructions provided (Polish I think).No template for the screw holes, which makes it awkward because you have to screw blind through the plasterboard into upto 8 screw holes on the frame. The holes are sealed with metal to provide purchase, but that means you can’t use them to mark the positions on the plasterboard.To sum up: Fiddly

Best concealed access door available, no framing required, just screw to the back of the plasterboard
