Engineering Thermodynamics: Work and Heat Transfer

Great for engineering students
The book was in great condition, standard Amazon Prime packaging. The text book was heavily recommended by my Thermodynamics lecturer at Bristol (Mechanical Engineering); mainly for additional reading and exercises but came in useful for reaffirming core ideas in both first and second year. My lecturer relied upon the text book as he was quite an old school style lecturer and continuously referenced the book in his own learning. Still using the book in third year for my project. One of the cheaper text books out there.

Review of book
This is by far the finest piece of academic literature provided for this subject. I highly recommend this for students and engineers alike. I consider it to be the 'bible' for this subject. It is clear and precise written by experts in the field of Thermodynamics - Heat & Work Transfer.Priciples and applications with many examples are given in great detail.A super technical book!

Very good
This book is the bible to university's thermodynamics and fluids in the uk. It is definitely worth the money and it arrived just fine.

Just what i needed to complete my library of engineering books. It has already helped me optimise my solar thermal hot water system.

Mainly for the interested student in Thermodynamics
As other reviewer put it, ... for the interested student in Thermodynamics - explains some concepts in more detail, I'd recommend it as a complementary book or as a course book only if taken with a good lecturer and if the course is long. Examples really illustrate the topic at hand, recommends skipping some parts at first reading, as Thermodynamics concepts are very 'mixed' within, the book does good doing this. No exercises. I'd say in level of depth is: Textbook -> This book -> Research- Amazon experience: well... even though I'm from Mexico, I still buy here when I can, It's great when you buy from a seller and they send you your products by a delivery company (FedEx, DHL,UPS), BAD when you order via common postal service,I bet USPS is great but Mexico's is horrendous (this might have been stolen), so amazon does an awesome job coordinating sells from other small businesses and great at not dealing with problematic bureaucracy. I often recommend Amazon.
