Uniball 70879 Uni-Ball Jetstream Fine Point 0.7 Mm Piece Of 3, Assorted

This pen works great. The ink is a fine 0.7mm. It moves along paper smoothly and dries right away. Doesn't bleed through. No smearing once dry, not even with thick use of a highlighter. Lightweight in your hand and pleasant to write with. I got a multi colored four pack of black ink pens and find them all attractive colors. Overall the pack is a good value for a really nice pen.

I've been a huge fan of the Jetstream line from Uniball since they released over ten years ago. They use a "hybrid" ink which is a combination of gel/water based ink and oil based ink. This hybrid allows for the super smooth writing you get from an oil based ink while maintaining the deep, dark lines you expect from gel. These pens are well known to be "lefty" friendly, so they do not smear. The clicking mechanism on these feel nice and they are super easy to pick up and go. I would avoid keeping them in pockets as pocket lint will gum up the tip and cause the pen to start skipping. One huge benefit is the Uni Super Ink, which is an archival level ink. This means the ink is designed to resist chemical washing and fading. Personally, I just don't understand the pricing on this pack specifically. You get 4 pens for $3.50 (at the time of this writing), which comes out to $0.88 per pen. The actual refills for this pen cost at least twice that. I bought half a dozen 4 packs, just for the refills. They work great in my first edition Ti Arto!

These are the best ballpoint pens you can buy, period. I have been using these fabulous writing sticks at my job for several years now and I absolutely love them. I do a lot of writing and fill out many forms and titles that have very small spaces and the 0.7mm fine point is perfect, not too thick and not too thin. Dries instantly, no smearing or smudging. Nice, consistant dark line that photocopies like a dream. The pen is not super narrow or big and chunky like the Dr. Grip from Pilot; it fits comfortably in the hand so I can plow through all the paperwork I need to get done and not have hand cramps. The refills are easy to find, too, and not terribly priced. This 4 pack is a dream come true. I like the new assortment of colors and if they came out with some more fun or vibrant colors I would purchase them too. Don't spend a fortune on fancy pens that look good but don't work worth a hoot. Been there, done that and I'm never going back again. These are the holy grail of ballpoint pens. Love them!

I’m a lefty so I need something that doesn’t smudge. This writes smoothly and drys fast. The pen feels good in my grip. I like that the nibs doesn’t move inside the tip of the pen like my or two pens. I wish they made these on an alloy body and that the grin had some squish to it vs just being a wider part in the body. Overall though it is a really nice pens and the colors look nice in person.

These pens are great! They write smoothly, don't skip, easy to hold, look nice, the colors of the 5 pens are really nice. The accents make the pens look professional. Definitely deserves the Wirecutter top pen nomination. Uniball pens are always wonderful. Have recommended them to many people. They dry quickly and have the super ink built in features. Fraud protection and so forth. Highly recommend them and the price for them is really good considering what you are getting.

This was one of my favorite pens when I was young, but on repurchase, I noticed that it no longer writes well, at least on printer paper, if your hands are sweaty. I'm not sure if this is a quality change that has occurred over a decade, if my sweat composition has changed now that I'm older, if because I have only recently written on printer paper and not notebook paper, or if the way/how long it was stored in the shipping warehouse. I used to love this pen for its relative smoothness, lack of skipping, lack of intensity needed to apply ink to paper, and lack of smearing on both paper and on the hand (making it great for left-handed people), and comfortable grip that lends itself to the whole body -- much of this remains true. However, in addition to difficulty applying ink with oily/sweaty hands, it also appears to skip more than I remember, even on a fresh piece of printer paper, making it difficult to write in very small print due to the skipping and sort of initial force needed to begin ink transfer onto paper. On the other hand, the Pilot Acroball pen has been very good to me, allowing me to write in very small print without skipping and smearing, although long sessions cause my fingers to get sore. I just wish I had found blue and red ink versions for it. I can't comment on the long-session comfort aspect of the Jetstream now, however, because it is too annoying to write small print with it. I currently use the Acroball for writing text and the Jetstream(s) for underlining and annotating a few words in color.

This are great pens, I am left handed and most pens don’t work well for me. These pens don’t smudge and they write smoothly with a very fine line. I would recommend them to anyone especially left handed people. I will definitely buy again.

Ordered these off the description of being a best seller. I was disappointed to find out the ink was blue, it was just the casing color. So read carefully! The 0.7mm doesn’t give the real feel of a 0.7mm tip. Not the smoothest writing quality imo. However I am a lefty and there is no smear with this pen!

Absolutely Fantastic.... Not one person who has used the pen has said that he/she didn't like it. Very reliable.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! These are my all-time favourite pens. I prefer the 1.0 in blue over the 0.7 in black, but they are easily interchangeable. The colours are esthetically pleasing!! LOVE THEM!!
