Really Useful Box Plastic Storage 18 Litre Clear

Does exactly what you expect from a really useful box. It was the size I wanted to store my sewing projects. I can fit two on my ikea Ivor shelves. Very sturdy, well made. I like that the lid makes it lockable and therefore more sturdy when carrying.

Strong, well made with good clasps to hold the lid on. These boxes are a little expensive but top quality. I have bought many over the years and am happy to recommend them.

Definitely value for money and good quality also the functionality of the box good they are all full to the rim and as all my boxes are clear the visibility is spot on so easy to use.

Over the years we've tried storage boxes from a variety of stores and whilst some are adequate many have started to crack, don't close properly or prove difficult to stack and store. We have a selection of different sized Really Useful box sizes bought over the last few years and are stored in the house, loft and garage. The first difference from your run of the mill box is how sturdy they are, the extra plastic support makes a huge difference. The handles that also lock the lid in place are equally sturdy. They also stack perfectly, even many of the different sizes are designed to partially interlock. Those that we have had in the garage for a couple of years have remained perfectly sealed and after brushing away a few cobwebs they look like new and we often move them around when trying to find something we've packed away. The price is pretty competitive too, we've just received another order and given the quality we didn't even consider looking at another make.

We have dozens of Really Useful Boxes of varying sizes in our company storeroom. As always, they're strudy and will last for years. This 18 litre box when stacked with another is about the same size as a single 35l box. This particular size is ideal for storing CDs, you can get just under 100 standard sized CD cases in here although of course they're suitable for all kinds of storage.

Big fan of Really Useful. I am using this to store DVD's. The build quality as always with RU products is excellent. No doubt I will buy another when I fill this one. For storage you can't go wrong with Really Useful.

The clips are strong and lock well. Good storage capacity size. The plastic is strong and doesn’t warp or crack. Good value for money.

I ordered 2 of these 18 Litre Boxes (External Dimensions: L480xW390xD200mm. Internal Dimensions: L395xW335xD170mm.) and immediately put them to use. Excluding the Controllers, I was able to fit a PS2 + PS3 Slim into box 1 and a Sega Saturn, N64 and PS1 Slim including their Video Cables and Power Supplies. As for quality: They are well moulded, don't warp with the weight of said consoles and don't suffer from any form of brittleness. If you wanted to store heavier things away in this brand of boxes such as weights or all of your DIY equipment, get the strong/reinforced versions. Otherwise these are pretty much an all purpose storage solution. Also, these boxes are just the right size that I can slowly angle them sideways to fit them in my cupboard without damaging my gear.
