Very stable
This is a very nicely built easel. The 4 leg system is very stable and easy to adjust. Make sure you have the legs properly lined up with the cutouts before you tighten the wing nuts and they won't loosen. Also, do not over tighten the easel wing nuts or you can crack the wooden supports.If you rub in a light coating of wax over all the wooden parts, it will provide some protection as well as help everything slide/move more smoothly.The adjustable slots/parts for the interior drawer are not the best, but they do provide some separation barriers. You can get thin balsa wood strips and custom make dividers which will be more secure.Overall a nicely built transportable easel.

Nice easel. Would give 5 stars if assembling 4 legs was easily a 1-person task. A little unwieldy.

Cleverly Design and Sturdy
I really enjoy this French eisle. Well designed, The armpit of the expandable legs actually fit snugly into customized notches on the outside of base. CLEAVERThe design is sturdy and adjustable to my needs.Fair price too.

Fun for a few months
I really did enjoy this for the few months I’ve owned it but it started splitting and the leg will be useless now. Who or how do I contact to remedy?

DO NOT BUY
Bought this for a class. First day I had it out, one of the screws got jammed. I could not close the easel until I used pliers to get the screw loose. A week after that, i found that a few of the other screws (which i had not touched) came loose and got lost somewhere. One of the legs fully came off, and now I can not stand the product up. Finally, the last screw came off and broke into multiple pieces and the product no longer works. Do not buy, it will completely fall apart on you. Not worth your money at all.

So portable!
I love my French easel. Not too heavy, i added a little side table so I can do watercolor on it. Nice quality. I did lose one of the rubber feet already, is there any way to get a replacement?

Great quality!!
I’ve used many different easels over the years and this is by far my favorite plein air easel. Fast set up and take down and perfect storage for everything I need. My back pack will house a few light items for the hike to my sites and the set up it so much easier with the slide and clip legs. I love that my little box pallet can’t fly away on windy days bc it’s easily tucked in a drawer. It comes with another attachment for smaller panels or canvases as well! I love this easel. Ten stars Amazon!!! The legs can adjusted easily and fast for sitting or standing and painting!!
