Still standing after gale force winds
I have to give it 5 stars after the storm we had last night. This storm came out of nowhere, we had no idea it was coming, I've been living on the ocean my whole life and have never heard winds like this before. Trees down all around us, many of my plants and shrubs are flattened, power out for the last 12 hours AND THIS THING IS STILL STANDING!! How? I honestly don't know. I had just put it together and planted it up hours before and my husband chuckled and said it was going to be all over the yard cause it's typically quite windy here...joke's on him! It's very small, but I knew that when I bought it. I got it as an experiment just to see if I would like a vertical planter before I spent a lot of money on a larger one with a self watering system. I am skeptical about whether or not the soil reservoir is going to suffice for the fruits and vegetables I have in it but I also knew that going in. We shall see. It for sure would be great for annuals and other plants that aren't such heavy feeders. So far its sturdy and that, in my book, deserves the 5 stars! Very impressed. (The photo is from the next morning after the storm)

Nice planter, holds 15 plants.
Very easy to use, the only thing I haven't been able to do, is connect the included chain and hook. You have to fill up the planter and stack it, and then drop the chain down the middle and it comes with a disk that fits in a hole on the bottom of the drain plate to hold it in place, and keep the planters from separating. But it's to heavy to lift up to connect the disc to the chain. But I love the planter.

It's okay...
The planters are theoretically supposed to drain water down to the plants below in the lower tiers. Unfortunately this planter doesn't do that effectively. The soil stays wet for a while because there's pockets in which the water sits at the bottom of the planter. There are also holes for the water to drain, but those holes are raised above and the water pools down below. See the video for more info. It's too late to return it, so I'll probably Jerry rig it by drilling more holes in the bottom where the water pools. I bought this for strawberries but all my plants except 1 (knock wood) died because the soil was too wet. Strawberries like the soil to be drier. Otherwise it's a good value compared to other companies and is made pretty well. So I'm probably going to Jerry rig the drain holes and add more to all the layers. Bottom line: it's still cheaper than others sold on Amazon and even Temu. Yes, I compared. LOL So it's a good value; you just need to Jerry rig more holes if you intend to use it for strawberries.

Very useful!
It’s a great buy for your vertical gardening needs. I bought another one for class as it was very useful for my students to utilize and tend to.

Not bad but not great
Bought one at Lowe's that was a better version than this but needed a second one and Lowe's was sold out of them. Issues: The container pop outs are not very big so you won't be able to transplant plant anything from a container bigger than those little 2x4 or 2x6 cell used for seedlings. It is not the sturdiest and it wanted to lean once full with soil and plants so I put a green garden stake down the center to help it stay upright. It has not sagged so it is holding up so far. And the petunias I planted are growing though they are leggy even with full sun on them. You do need to keep an eye on keeping the soil moist for the plants as they can easily dry out. The water does not evenly disperse so be sure to check each pop out for correct moisture. I put it on a wheeled base for easier movement. I have not tried to hang it with the provided chain - not sure it would hold up to that once full of soil and moisture after watering. This was purchased to grow a little herb tower but was not able to use it for herbs as planned. Perhaps it could be done if the seeds were sown directly into the planter. So in short...would not buy again.

It was a "I can't waste the berries" purchase - lol
I had a project that required going through part of the strawberry bed. I got 2 sets for temp usage, as I use the berries for jam. (Its April 17 as I write this) the plants have taken to the planter better than I expected. I think it's the heat /warmed soil. The stack went together smoothly, I did add sand and cut a piece of landscaping fabric to fit in the bottom to help reduce any soil wash out yet kept drainage. While stable as a single set (I didn't have time to try it out) I think that with a couple of supports (or center pipe, both sets could have been stacked. I like the "less" space needed aspect and depending on how berry production is this year, I could see myself buying several more sets and using the current strawberry bed for other things (more peas for example - lol)

Perfect planter
It’s the perfect size. Good Quality plastic. Has drainage bins in every pot. It’s really pretty. The perfect planter for my cat and kitten plants. Nice garden gloves. Also a soil scoop.

Stackable heights
This is probably one of the best planners I have seen in a long time. Love the fact that it stacks five high or you can stack it as just one. Also love the fact that you could hang it up but if you did all five rows it does get pretty heavy. I get compliments on it all the time. I planned it like herbs and lettuce. It was easy to clean up after I was done for the season was able to stack it all back together to store for the winter. If you got a gardener and your family this would make a great gift
