I liked it so much after trying it that I bought a second one. Once it snaps on, it stays firmly in place, giving me a bonus monitor next to my laptop. In landscape mode, it’s great for watching TV; in portrait mode, it’s perfect for displaying song lyrics. The free rotation between orientations and excellent MagSafe compatibility make it extremely convenient. Highly recommended.

Doesn’t work at all. The magnet is very weak and barely even holds my MagSafe case without my phone in it, regardless of actually holding my phone with the case. Don’t waste your money- this is junk.

Works super well if you have a MagSafe case. I have started to use my phone as the camera for my laptop instead of laptop camera as it’s low quality. It’s also great for FaceTiming with the front camera as well

I love the engineering of the moth products. I use one of their cell phone stand/wallets was really excited about this and it does work, but the magnet just isn’t quite strong enough and I wonder if it’s because if a magnet sat behind your monitor for too long That maybe it could hurt the computer not sure but I think if they make a version two of those I would definitely be interested

I have a MacBook Pro and an IPhone 15 Pro Max. I think if you have a smaller IPhone it will work fine, but with the larger one, if you want to keep it in landscape mode (Me, I wanted to use it to keep a live stream up while working or watch YouTube) then you have to keep the screen at exactly 90 degrees, which can make it hard to see. I feel like they should have two different models. One slimmer one for the smaller iPhone. And a bigger one with stronger magnets or a different design for the larger pro max iPhones. IF you put the phone vertically on the left side of the screen (The only other option) then it works fine as long as your gentle. It’s probably a better idea to just buy a MagSafe phone stand and park your phone to the left of your laptop. This would be great for your “lap” when there isn’t room to have a phone on a stand, but the movement of having the phone on your “lap” and the angle you would need the screen cocked back, it just doesn’t make sense as a product for its singular use case. Go get the Moft MagSafe tripod thing or the folding wallet stand, you will thank me later and you wont have this weird bump on your MacBook.

I love this mount! It folds up small enough on the laptop it's almost like it's not even there. No issues putting the laptop in my bag or anything. When I need to use it I just give it a little flip around and BAM my phone right there in perfect view! 10 out of 10 will recommend it to anyone with an iPhone or MagSafe compatible case!

I love the concept but I wish you could switch it so you could mount to either side. As it is now it only sits on the left. Also I have two phones One Samsung s21 and then a new Galaxy s24 ultra. Both have magsafe cases. The s24 ultra is a little heavy and the magnet isn't wonderful. It can be bumped off. The lighter phone has no issue. Also I wish it came with slightly better mounting instructions as I got in a pretty good spot but after I put it down I wish I could have moved it a little bit and it's on there and I can't get it off. Unless I wanted to like scrape it off and then super glue it back on but I'm not doing that lol After a few more months of using this I have decided I do not like it.. I wish it was on the other side of my computer. I wish I could move it but I can't. The magnet is not strong enough for my s24 ultra so it occasionally falls off.. it works good for the smaller s24 and would probably be fine with an iPhone but not with an iPhone Max. Moft has well made products but they need a little tweaking.

I’ll often take conference calls from my phone which frees up my screen to continue working. If there is a presentation the phone screen might be too small but overall I like this product.
